Yes. Little Big Planet looks like so much fun, the physics in that game are incredible.

Alright i want to buy a PS3 but i read somewhere that they are moving the CELL chip and the RSX chip from 90 nm to 65 nm. Anyone know when that is happening? Because, i want to wait and buy a ps3 then.

Also, i think i read that on June 12th of 2008, all PS3's will come with the Dualshock 3 controller. Can anybody help with confirmations? I am more interested in the smaller chips in the system.

thanks

I heard that GTA4 for PS3 and Xbox 360 are pretty much the same thing, is this true? Has anyone played? Supposedly textures are higher res on the 360, but there is more post processing done on the PS3, but that it all amounts to just about the same. Reason is I am getting a PS3, but I don't know if I should wait to get GTA IV, or if it makes any difference. Does anyone have first hand experience with this?

to add onto this...

Lego Indiana Jones is going to have to be a lot different... no force obviously, which was a huge cool part of the Star Wars games. And the characters in Indiana Jones, although well known in their own right, are not NEARLY as well known and popular as the Star Wars character. And there are a lot fewer... It will be interesting to see how they pull it off.

They look nearly identical, but the PS3 has motion controls. The 360 will get downloadable content that is supposed to be huge-- like a new island and 15 hours of content huge.

I read that Microsoft gave Rockstar 50 million dollars to develop it exclusively for the 360.

It runs better/smoother on PS3 because it installs to the HDD. Other then that, they are virtually identical.

I got the PS3 version of GTA. But I think I might regret not getting the 360 version. I've already beat the game (incredible experience by the way.) but I foolishly forget all about the extra content. Although the multi-player is so much fun that this game is going to get a lot of "burn" the next couple of months.

You'll be disappointed with the end - the game is broken (for all game systems), so there's only a couple ways you can actually beat it... Lucas hurried the developers (like he usually does) so they were unable to package a complete product - there's an entire planet/plot line missing (which becomes obvious when several characters purposes never come to fruition...)

Otherwise, it was a pretty cool game (hint: the Dark Side & Light Side are what they are, but this game rewards "neutral" Jedis the most....)

i'll say this much for gta4 -- when I flip on the tv and see playoff basketball that doesn't involve you know who, it's right nice to just walk down the street and kick the crap out of somebody for no reason at all.....$60 well spent for that alone.

My PS3 came on Saturday, so I've been playing a ton. Been playing NBA Live 08, and 2K8 came in the mail today so I'll be playing that tomorrow for the first time. Also purchased Lost: Via Domus off eBay.

We pre-ordered a "Wii Fit" a couple of months ago. When does that come out?

the car chases are ridiculously good -- i constantly have to remind myself, "it's just a friggin' video game."

Ive also been playing it and I havent gone to a strip club yet and I'd love to avoid it. I just eat hot dogs from vendors and play darts. The minigames are amazing and avoiding the police is a game in itself.

I really love the story-- Ive had to remind myself a few times that its a video game and not a well-made drama mini-series. The city is also really believable and I love walking into bars and having people drinking and people eating in the diners.

the strip clubs may be a gender specific activity, but as a word of advice to anyone who ventures to one.....when the dancer asks if you want another dance, say yes.

i also love PLR radio -- the political ads are hilarious.

life lessons from gta4....pretty funny.

Everyone that already had a 360 now wants a PS3. And certainly there have been some quality games out this past year.

It's going for a good 400 bucks.

Anyone play any of the Phantasy Star games anymore? I was straight up addicted to Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast back in the day. Then played some of it on the Gamecube and 360.. havent played it for years until last weekend I players Phantasy Star Online on the 360 and fell in love all over again.
