From the beginning of the game, it looked like Dirk really wanted this one.

HE looks really tired but I don’t think it helps to pull him two minutes into the 3rd. Lord knows we see other players do worse and stay on the court.

Mavs are murdering from beyond the arc... Followill just said 18 threes, 16 twos.

Smith looks like he hasn't done much, and yet I see a team player which is rare for a guy of his talent. It looks like he likes to make the right play versus play hero ball.

Dennis has done poorly at other times and stayed on the court too, it's not like he's getting the Noel treatment... Dude got yanked, came back with more energy and focus. I'm not going to criticize Rick when he gets results.

He's had numerous moments in the 4th where he's had a chance to blow by his man and he's stepping back. Looks like they might have told him to calm down and get the other guys involved.

I don't mind it at all. Bench him after the airball and lazy pass to teach a lesson, then put him back out there a few minutes later. Didn't bury him for the rest of the game, just long enough to make a point. Good coaching.

Rick certainly made all the right moves tonight.
Then, again when a team is shooting this well, all your moves look like the right moves.

I think he gets winded easily which is something to keep an eye on, but I also think if you're having a subpar game, why not just help the team win by getting the hot guys the ball?

Great to see Terry still close with the opposing bench, lots of high fives and hugs.

Still getting used to the NBA pace, it can be grueling as a rookie, especially when you play as physically as Dennis... Slanging wood takes a lot of energy.

Yeah when I made the post I incorrectly assumed we’d get Harris/Barea for a much longer period. Smith came back out not long after so I’m fine with it.

Hey, if we're gonna win, a blowout isn't a bad way to go.

I suppose it can be a more enjoyable way to watch this season, right?
If we lose, then we feel good because we are closer to a better lottery pick.
If they win, then we get to see the Mavs win a game which has been rare to say the least.

We only scored 2 fast break points in this game.

I agree, but I don't really see a big stamina issue based on the eye test. He still gave a good team effort as the game went on.
I think 5 games in 7 nights is grueling for anyone let alone a rookie. He'll be fine.
Also, Bledsoe was arguably worse which is somewhat surprising.
