Third team Theory
I don't believe Dallas and New Jersey can pull off a deal in which Dallas doesn't get raped. So we'd need a third team, in rebuilding process themselves, to pull it off.
So i devised this plan
Dallas Trades
Jason Terry
Jerry Stackhouse
Calvin Booth
Alan Henderson
Dallas Gets
Jason Kidd
Antonio Davis
Aaron Williams
Chicago Trades
Eddy Curry
Antonio Davis
Chicago Gets
Jerry Stackhouse
Alan Henderson
New Jersey Trades
Jason Kidd
Aaron Williams
New Jersey Gets
Jason Terry
Eddy Curry
Calvin Booth
Dallas Lineup
Kidd/Armstrong
Finley/Daniels
Howard/Daniels&Finley
Dirk/Davis/Williams
Dampier/Bradley/DJ&Pavel
It's a given why our team Does it. We'd have Kidd dishing to Dirk, an open Finley, a slashing Howard, or a down-low Dampier. We'd have all the pieces needed to fight for the title. We'd probably need to sign a spare 3 to get about 10-13mpg, but we should be fine. This is our best chance of getting Kidd and still have depth.
Chicago- Cap Saving. They get a taker of Davis' big contract and get an expiring one in return. Plus they'd finally get that cheap star-swingman they've always wanted. It would also save them from trying to resign Curry who's said he doesn't want to be there in the long term. Their highest paid player after the season would be Stack who's at 7mil. They'd get more room to possibly resign Chandler, and Hinrich/Gordon/Deng in the future.
New Jersey- Cheap Talent/Cap Saving. Both Terry and Curry are very cheap talent. They're in the best situation because if they both workout, they'd have the cap to resign them both. And if Curry doesn't work, he could just walk. Plus, they'd have a semi-decent team.

I tell her that everything will be all right; that I'll save her from whatever she's scared and take her far far away. I tell her that I love her. The silencer makes a whisper of the gunshot. I hold her close until she's gone. I'll never know what she was running from. I'll cash her check in the morning.
