I didn't.
I just want to talk about someone else other than My boy for once.
But 4 turnovers tonight again? and he bricked 3 out of 4 Free Throws?
I mean...4 turnovers against the Lakers is one thing since they always have the refs in their back pockets...But against the WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE??? Stop this insanity, Antoine.
And Free throws? What happened to that nice "Form" you showed against the Lakers?
What....You only concentrate on your Free Throws when it's in Big Games or something?
Hey...WAIT A MINUTE!

Josh Howard is blossoming before our very eyes. His disruptive abilities on the defensive end are phenomenal, and he works the glass like a madman. I've heard him compared to many players, but the guy who he reminds me of most at this point is Shawn Marion. Once he gains a bit more savvy and experience on the offensive end (and I have no doubts that he will), he's going to be something special.

If Josh Howard turns into The Matrix : The Sequel, He would turn out to be the ULTIMATE Steal of the Draft!!

You still have offense off the bench in Jamison. Maybe Daniels if he gets more than garbage minutes. Best and Delk would cetainly have their moments.
You'd still have defense off the bench with Bradley and Najera. Daniels as well.

I like that Lineup, man!
By the time Dirk comes back, Howard will be ready for full-time STARTING duty.

RE:Orlando @ Mavs gameday
Mavericks add to Orlando's woes, 110-97
10:17 PM CST on Saturday, December 6, 2003
Associated Press
DALLAS – Make it 19 losses in a row for the Orlando Magic, who are closing in on the NBA record for consecutive defeats.
Antoine Walker had 24 points and 16 rebounds and Michael Finley added 22 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 110-97 win Saturday night.
With Dallas playing its fifth game in eight days, all without injured Dirk Nowitzki, coach Don Nelson took advantage of the woeful Magic by mixing players in and out of the lineup. The chemistry may not have always been right, but the Mavericks didn't need much.
Orlando's only win was an 85-83 overtime victory in the season opener Oct. 29 at New York. With their 105-94 loss at home Friday night to San Antonio, the Magic surpassed their franchise-record losing streak of 17 from Dec. 4, 1991 to Jan. 7, 1992.
The single-season NBA record for consecutive losses is 23 by the Vancouver Grizzlies in 1995-96 and the Denver Nuggets in 1997-98. The overall record is 24 by the Cleveland Cavaliers at the end of 1981-82 and the start of the following season. Orlando's next four games are against Phoenix, Washington, New Jersey and Atlanta.
Dallas was coming off its first home loss of the season, 114-103 to the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night. The Mavericks have lost consecutive games only once.
The Mavericks led for good after Walker's short jumper with 7:36 left in the second quarter made it 42-41 and started a 13-0 run. Walker scored six points in the spurt, and rookie Josh Howard – in his just his second start – had a 3-pointer which he followed with a layup after an Orlando turnover.
Finley shot 9-of-12 for the Mavericks, while Antawn Jamison had 18 points and Howard 13.
Tracy McGrady led Orlando with 27 points but shot just 9-of-24. Juwan Howard had a season-high 24 points and 10 rebounds, and Tyronn Lee had 16 points.
McGrady had the Magic within 64-63 after making his first two shots after halftime – a slam dunk and a 3-pointer.
Finley responded with a 3-pointer, and by time he hit another one five minutes later, the Mavs had built their lead to 79-69. It never got closer than nine points after that.
McGrady missed his last nine shots in Friday night's loss to San Antonio, then missed his first three before a putback slam against Dallas. He is 34-of-101 over the past four games,
Eight different Dallas players played at least 12 minutes, and two others played nine.
With all the different lineup combinations, the Mavericks had a season-high 21 turnovers. Orlando turned those turnovers into 25 points, but was outscored 64-34 in the paint and outrebounded 55-36.
Notes: Nowitzki (sprained right ankle) hopes to return for the Mavs' next game, Wednesday night at the Los Angeles Clippers. ... Dallas coach Don Nelson was fined $7,500 by the NBA for publicly criticizing officials. ... Nelson has 1,109 career wins, one short of Pat Riley for second on the career list. Lenny Wilkens has 1,292 wins.

"So what else is new?" on the Nellie-gets-fined-for-criticizing-officials Front...
One more victory for Nellie to tie him with the guy who MAY Replace him depending on what happens this postseason....

There is nothing wrong with criticizing a team if your points are valid. But most of the armchair coaches on this board talk pseudo-basketball-ese and make results oriented comments as if they actually have an understanding of the game at the pro level. Most of the comments are based on disappointment from unrealistic expectations or the most ludicrous notion that you sitting in your barc-o-lounger knows more about how to win basketball games than Nelson. Just not gonna happen, boysan.-TwoDeep3

Josh Howard is my DAWG. Man, I'm excited about him. Now, if we could JUST draft somebody tall and athletic. I'm talking, Reggie Evans-like, even. Not some blue chip guy. Just tall. Then we'll be set for the next few years, with some youth and athleticism.

RE:Orlando @ Mavs gameday
last nitghts game was a good confidence re-establisher for this team(sorry team, but still a W).....nice game for Fin(9-12fg)...and yes I have said it all along(I really have) Josh Howard will be a studd in this league....I love Fin, but as Howard grows, Fin becomes more and more expendable....
Howard seems to one of those few players who just GETS this games ins and outs....I love watching him play!....THe natural ability is exciting, but the unnatural way in which he handles himself for a rookie is even more exciting!...he is calm in tight games, you dont worry about the ball in his hands, you dont think at any moment he will turn it over, you dont mind him taking tough shots, you dont mind him guarding the league's toughest guys(Kobe and TMAC), you just think he'll grab every board he goes for...he has the look of a top 5 pick....and the maturity of a second or third year player...nice to see!
cant wait for this team to be whole! There has been a dirk sized hole for too long now!

Isn't Josh a 3 which explains why his stats look great until when you go to the SHOOTING?
