More than anything else this game served as a reminder that Mike Brown is not an NBA level head coach.
Edit to add: GO MAVS!

Wish there would be more talk out there about how we actually had double the amount of new starters as the Lakers had last night... but I suppose the Hollywood lights are blinding.
Quality win.

Loved the scrappiness, and toughness! Brand and Crowder were especially vocal, boisterous, and fearless. Fn love it! More of that style of play please.

Miami was a young team. LAL gets old(er) with each passing game. Do not hold your breath if you expect Nash, Pau and Kobe at their best in June 2013... Also Dwight will wear down.
ps: I wonder who will fight for loose balls in LAL....Kobe, Nash, Jamison ?

There used to be a page on Mavsmoneyball that had all the post-game quotes from the players and coaches.
Anyone know where I can find it?

Not sure - but you should 'like' Earl K. Sneed on Facebook if you haven't already - he posted some after the game last night.

RT @TyLawson3 Good game between Dallas and Portland. Good thing we didn't end up getting Dallas. Coach Karl lost his mind.

I was very proud of the guys last night. A lot of odds against us and we still came out on top. Great way to start of the season and build some chemistry. The team kind of reminded me of the Denver Nuggets post Carmelo. No star player, but guys playing together as unit and finding a way to win.
Now it's time for Utah.

Collison gives these guys an added dimension with his ability to breakdown and draw defenders, next step is learning to find the open guys and providing the dimes consistently. He did a great job knowing when to push the pedal and when to pull it out.
