Two groups were really happy with the muslim travel ban:

Its not the most important to close your borders. Its important that the lifes of muslims in the USA doesnt turn to shit. Because that gives ISIS the recruits. Recruits allready living right now in the US...

Considering there are very few people that actually like Trump, it's apparent that far more people than just ISIS and Trump supporters support this temporary travel ban.
