Mavs win by more. Why??????????? I had the oppertunity to go to the Lakers v. Rockets game and I was fortunate enough to be right infront of the player entrance tunnel where they came out. I got to shake hands with almost the entire Laker team.(Cook, Odom, Walton, Sasha, George, Bynum, Mihm, Parker, Brown and some of the assistant coaches) Luckily what the unsuspecting Laker players didnt know i was sick and sneezed in my hands many times and used the same hand UNWASHED, to shake their hands. Their for they will be sick and we will win effortlessly. Do to the heroics of your "Samoan-Maverick".

I loathe Phil and Kobe and the entire laker organization..........
this excerpt was in an article today that was outlining L. Odoms' bad string of games
http://www.dailynews.com/sports/ci_3324748
..........But Odom can redeem himself tonight against the Dallas Mavericks and Dirk Nowitzki, a player Odom has a history of frustrating on defense. Odom had 15 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in the Lakers' Dec. 12 victory over Dallas.
I am calling it, and hear me now!

Haha, Odom is gonna get frustrated by Dirk tonight!
Both, on offense as well as on defense.
Kobe can suck it and Griffin is gonna shut him down tonight.
And I'd like to see some Benga action as well tonight. Kobe can suck it...

Time to spit that bad taste out of my mouth. Bryant is playing out of his mind right now but tonght we'll show them that you can't win without a team.

Don't look for the Lakers to be pushovers. They're 7-3 in their last 10, and they're due for some home wins. Kobe and JJ were co-players of the week.
I don't have a great feeling about this one. The Lakers are coming off a 2 point loss to the Rockets (T-Mac hits the game winner of course) that they've had a day to think about, and they'll be looking for a win. Kobe always seems ready to play the Mavs. For some reason, I see Kobe going for 40+, and Odom cleaning up the boards. The Mavs better be ready tonight. Dallas has the better team, but this one really could go either way.

Kobe 40pts on 35 fg attempts Dirk and Howard each 30

TVI, I have to say, I pretty much agree with your assessment. I think it'll be another close game, but I'm hoping the good guys win this time.

First, Jackson on Cuban, in the Los Angeles Times: Speaking of the Mavs' arena, Phil said it's "a place where the owner runs around, pumps up the volume, intimidates the referees and … has announcers as hired cheerleaders, which is an intimidating force."
Second, Cuban on Jackson, in the Dallas Morning News: "All he did was prove he doesn't know anything about marketing. And he probably should look up in the stands to see whether the fans are having fun, because those are the people who allow him to be overpaid."
You know the beauty of those two statements? They're both right.
|
Cuban is crazy, and for that we win today.

Odom...
Just give him some room and make him an outside shooter. If he starts driving and racking up fouls, we'll have a rough night. I'd take my chances letting him shoot outside.

Marquis is playing tonight. Not starting and not playing his usual load, per AJ, but playing.
I'm getting geeked about this one. I have a feeling it's going to be a hell of a game!
