I was just thinking that I don't have anything to look forward to other than aging. I guess my insurance will go down when I hit 25, but other than that it seems pointless to me.

I'm one of the few who looks forward to aging. I can't wait to hit my 30's and leave my 20's behind.

Maybe it's that I'm still in a youthful mindset, but I just feel like I'm gonna dread every birthday more and more.

You know Q.... I don't really pay that much attention to my Birthday anymore. I know that I now look forward to my kids birthdays. So maybe if you have kids, you have that to look forward to?

ask again at 30, 50, and 100.
I think the point of birthdays changes.

It goes from "ooh, look at what I get to do now"
to "ooh, look at what I can still do."

30 is a great excuse for a huge party. I had one and have been to many. Same goes for 40, but I'm not there yet.

As MFFL wrote, you generally have more money when you get older and it's yours. I've known some people that didn't have money issues in their teens and 20's because their families took care of some things, but that comes with strings attached. When you earn it you decide how to spend it.
