Any early indications as to who we'll have on our roster?

Unless something radical happens, this means the team will get a first-hand look at the unibrowed one.

Hopefully this year is different. Summer league for the Mavericks usually sucks. Since they barely have young players on their pro team, the Mavs usually get stuck with castaways. I know in 2010, the Sixers/Wizards pretty much fielded their starting 5 that year which made for cohesive play and good viewing.

Well with an expected gutting of the roster this fall, we should be able to field some of the top tier guys.

PF Drew Gordon (Strong rebounder out of New Mexico)

PF/C Solomon Jones (33rd pick by Hawks in 2006)
C David Harrison (played for Pacers from 2004-08)

All Ivy second team? Wow. My dad used to always joking brag about being first team all city in football. Of course he lived in a small 2A town...

Man if dojo is still on this team, I just don't know what to say.

I fully expect James to rebound the crap out of the ball. Would be also nice if Cunningham would show us something other than his supposedly elite athleticism. Crowder sighting will be cool as well. I know, those guys are probably nothing special, but that little chance is always there, and that makes it exciting to watch those games.

Looking forward to seeing the 3 rookies + Drew Gordon. Really wish Dojo wasn't on the team though. This summer league needs to be for the ones they drafted this year + hope to sign.

Very excited to see our young guys. I get the idea they will get a lot of burn this season so it'll be nice to get a sneak preview of their skills.

Na. Roddy is actually good enough not to be subjected to that. Also don't want to risk some nick nack injury in a summer league game.

His confidence was injured the last time he went. With dojo outplaying him.

I can't get over the fact that they exercised his team option last summer. $1.3m just sitting there collecting dug during a time where every dollar obviously counts. A guy they bought into the first round to get, who, last I heard, could be found pre-game shooting corner threes from behind the bench for shits an giggles while coaches looked on shaking their head. I believe we got that story from Skin somewhere during the 2011 season in a podcast. That's like stuff we did in the gym during lunch in high school.

I thought that story was about Gerald Green from a few years ago.
Regardless, Dojo's not an NBA.

Dee Brown is interesting
He was on the 2005 Illinois squad(that also had Deron Williams) and they went all the way to the finals and lost to I believe UNC that had McCants, Felton, Sean May.

Alright, a little boost of athleticism for the SL team in Dee Brown - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgfIrCTjud0

I predict Cuntingham is going to impress! Mark it down right next to what I said about Jeremy Lin.

Jones can do what Kidd does for a fraction of the price. Bring the ball up the court right? It's hard to be overly optimistic this off season (so far) but this is Jones' 2nd year and he rarely got burn his first. I really think he can be mold into a good role player if we just lower our expectations.
I'm really excited to see Cunningham, as well as any Maverick on the roster! It'll be fun to see some Maverick related basketball seeing as how we got the early exit.

I saw Cunningham working out at the AAC tonight as we finished up hoops. I like his size and mobility. He has a nice release to his jumper and he's got NBA 3-point range.
The 3 rookies will be having their introductory press conference tomorrow. If there's any questions you've got, send them here and I'll try to get them in.

It's actually going to be DoJo's third season... and IMO he hasn't shown any skills that indicate that he's an NBA player.
