kirilenko? out for most of the season... i don't think so
artest? hahahha!
howard is very likely to make the all defensive team. it's gonna be hard though... j-ho is IMO the most underrated player in the league right now.
btw, bowen is still a cheap a$$, undercutting, foot laying, clotheslining little B**** a$$ f@g!!

RE:will Howard make the all-defensive team?
Sadly, the Maverick (now false) reputation of playing no defense will probably hurt Howard's chances, along with the fact that every analyst creams over Bowen's defensive "abilities."
I haven't watched enough of the Suns this year, but Marion is usually a good defender. Is he still defending well, and will voters consider him a SF or a PF? Or will, it even matter? Maybe it will be like the All-Star starters, two guards, two forwards, regardless of position?

RE: will Howard make the all-defensive team?
Way too early to say what kind of contract he'll demand. Way too early to say how the Mavs should handle it. There's a whole other season after this one (hopefully) and a new CBA to be negotiated in between now and when that bridge has to be crossed.

If he doesn't make it, then it's a 'traveshamockery'

RE:will Howard make the all-defensive team?
I think the better question would be which team does he make. I think it was Mad Ape who told me a year ago when I asked which 1st team all defensive we could get, said we have him he wears #5.
In my mind he's a 1st teamer.
Locked up every top offensive player in the league in head to head matchups. Kobe, Allen, Peja, Garnett

The Spurs can win without Bowen
Can the Mavs win without Howard?

Actually i think playing for the mavs might actually enhance his chances. If everyone realise how good the mavs has become defensively since the days the team try to outscore every opponent, they will realise the huge impact j-ho has on the defense.

RE: will Howard make the all-defensive team?
The replays of the Q-rich crossover drive wont help his chances.
Of course nobody plays defense in the Rookie/Sophomore game, but some athletic rebounds/steals/blocks might help his cause.
National Exposure down the stretch will certainly help; most of the country still doesn't know who Josh Howard is.

RE:will Howard make the all-defensive team?
Josh Howard has (close to) the athleticism of LeBron James. He doesn't have as much offensive skill (obviously) but anyone that athletic should be playing good defense or it means they aren't trying.
