When I see something like this, "Irving - Nets close to deal......" shouldn't this be considered tampering and the team punished.....if Irving does sign with the Nets....

@wojespn: Rob Pelinka and David Griffin, upon completion of Anthony Davis deal, had agreed that if a third team was looped into trade, teams would finalize on July 6. No third team wanted to wait until late July. Once Atlanta was brought in today, Pelinka was already on board.

Traes defense will always be his downfall...it was not rookie terrible, it was beyond terrible. And its something you cant fix because of his physical limitations (small and tiny) and also the lack of awareness.
Same goes with Collins. If they keep both, they will crash and burn in the playoffs. Thats why Schlenk just drafted defensive players. I expect that they may ship out Collins because you cant hav two starters who are both in the top-3 of the worst defender on their positions. |
