Tonight should be wild. Are the Hawks going to be aggressive? NOP have to be feeling good about a nice return for #4 overall, whether they take a solid addition to Zion or take someone's ludicrous offer for a PG reach.

This is why you can't believe anything you hear. Remember when KD and Kyrie to the Knicks was a done deal?

When I see something like this, "Irving - Nets close to deal......" shouldn't this be considered tampering and the team punished.....if Irving does sign with the Nets....

@wojespn: Rob Pelinka and David Griffin, upon completion of Anthony Davis deal, had agreed that if a third team was looped into trade, teams would finalize on July 6. No third team wanted to wait until late July. Once Atlanta was brought in today, Pelinka was already on board.

@vkillem: BREAKING: The Golden State Warriors have been quietly canvassing the league for suitors interested in Draymond Green.
With max extensions looming for Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant, sources tell me Green is being shopped to add depth next year and avoid luxury tax.

One of my least favorite athletes of all time... and yet...
I can't help but wonder what he looks like next to KP in the frontcourt.

League isn't going to do the Knicks favors after they ban media members. Oh and were just fined 500k for it.

@ArashMarkazi: Mark Cuban smiled when I asked him about LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the Lakers. “I just hope history repeats itself with the Lakers and their dream teams.”

I love Luka, but it’s tough seeing Giannis hold the MVP trophy knowing we should have drafted him.

That is bogus. The race should've been closer than that and anyone who didn't vote for him top 3 is a moron and should have their voting revoked.

It should have been Luka unanimous.
Perhaps someone viewed Ayton and JJJ is higher regard, but I agree Trae should have been 2 or 3.

I disagree. Luka should've won no doubt but Trae had a very good season. Everyone wrote him off before he even stepped on the court. People called the Hawks stupid for drafting him. He's proven to be of the same caliber as anyone in that draft class and looks like a future star in this league. Had he started the season how he ended it he may have won ROY.

I respect that you disagree. But everything you just mentioned is to the negative portion of Trae's argument for ROY. He played great! ... after the all-star break. And another poster already mentioned he offered nothing to the other half of the game (defense).
Luka played historically great all season long.
A unanimous decision doesn't mean Trae won't be a great player in this league for a long time, just means it validates what Luka did this season, which was transcendent.

Well let's be honest with ourselves....Luka didn't really have anyone on his team to get the assists or rebounds he got lol.

Rockets have zero class
Literally while Giannis is crying on stage, Rockets are tweeting stats on why he wasn’t legitimate as MVP

Everything about their marketing is trash. That's why the stadium is usually half empty during the regular season.

@espn_macmahon: LeBron James' lone fifth-place vote for MVP came from the http://NBA.com fan vote, not a media member. All the ballots here: https://ak-static.cms.nba.com/wp-con...Selections.pdf …

Traes defense will always be his downfall...it was not rookie terrible, it was beyond terrible. And its something you cant fix because of his physical limitations (small and tiny) and also the lack of awareness.
Same goes with Collins. If they keep both, they will crash and burn in the playoffs. Thats why Schlenk just drafted defensive players. I expect that they may ship out Collins because you cant hav two starters who are both in the top-3 of the worst defender on their positions.

Who are they trading for Butler?? Seems like he only compounds the "1 ball" problem with Harden/CP3.

Eric Gordon, Capella and two 1st rounders I'd imagine.
