2020 Dallas Stars

Went digging and the last thread we had on the Stars appears to be from.... 2010. Have we been that bad?

Well for all intents and purposes this is the only remaining Dallas team with a shot at winning something (Rangers are dead to me for now...)

Have not followed hockey closely for a long time... but our stars are pulling some magic out of their sticks and skates and find themselves in the Conf Finals. Hat trick from a guy who hadn't played all series including the game winner in OT? sign me up

Yeah, it's shameful how little attention the stars get, and I'm not really a hockey fan. Congrats to their success thus far.

I'm probably like most people...I follow the Stars and watch some of their games..but Hockey is probably 5th on my ranking of favorite sports to watch
1. baseball
2. football
3. tennis
4. basketball
5. hockey

But, I try to pay as much attention to them as possible..

Yep. They have been outshot SIGNIFICANTLY this series so far, yet are up 2-1. That's hockey. Your team and especially your goalie get hot, and you can win it all. Stars feel like they might be on that type of roll.

I went to college in Florida and went to a few Lightning games. Would be really cool to see a Stars/Lightning finals.

Don't really know how those two teams compare - just looking at standings and seeding and TB was higher ranked. At this point i'd be happy if they beat each other up and go to 7 games either way.

Yes those are going to be two exhausted teams. Glad Stars won after that terrible call in OT of last game.

I thought they looked tired the last 2 games, even if they did pull it out in one of them. Glad they got as far as they did but tbh the better team won imo. I like the starting line fine and I like Seguin and Miro from l2 but after that it's just some dudes. Tampa's SL was better, and their depth was far better. It really showed as the series went on to me.
