but does he work in "radio time"? or live?
I mean is he using the delay to help him find drops?

Someone is gonna find out where you live....and ring your doorbell...and when you answer, someone is gonna punch you in the left testicle and rob you of your right kidney.

This may be more of a cell phone question than a Ticket question but most of our P1's are tech savvy and I didn't want to start a new thread.
I've been thinking about upgrading my cell phone from a basic razor to something with a few more bells and whistles and I remember hearing sports Strum scoreboard Dan with the fact that he was able to stream the Ticket on his cell phone.
How does this work? Can I use any phone with a web browser and stream directly from the Ticket's web site or would I have to subscribe to a radio service? AT&T has a couple of radio streaming options for $9 a month but I didn't see the Ticket (or any other sports talk show) on the channel list.

I always just assumed it was a Blackberry or something similar with full feature web support and he was hitting up the ticket website.
But I'm not real up on cell phone technology, so I could be wrong.

As I recall, Dan's "superphone" couldn't stream the Ticket. That's why I assumed there was more to it than going to the website and streaming directly from there. Maybe not.

For P1's...
Dan and Grubes had to pay off a bet last night, and went to the Stars game in medieval knight garb, they sat behind the Nashville bench.
Here are some pictures, and there's a link to a video of them on the kiss cam. Funny.

So only caught the tail end of Followill on with the Hardline, but as he was leaving they mentioned that he is going to be doing the Ticket Mavs' post game show this season after home games.
I'll miss Ben and Skin, but Followill is a nice replacement in my opinion.

I didn't hear them say, but I doubt it. He's going to need a partner because there will be nights where Mark can't do it because of leaving for a back to back to game, etc.

Could a P1 help me out...What is the genesis and meaning of the "Did you hear Fat Joe left Atlantic?" shtick? I guess I must have missed the beginning of of all of that, or is it from somewhere else?

Wow...really?
Maybe a year ago (or longer) Corby was tickled by some breaking news scroll on E or something stating that Fat Joe had left Atlantic. So they were laughing about it on air, talking about what a ridiculous headline that was, because no one had any idea who Fat Joe was.
So they got the idea to call all their mothers (while recording) and just drop in that Fat Joe had left Atlantic as if it was a big deal and get their responses.
It sounds stupid but the calls were surprisingly entertaining, and they got some great drops from it.

Oh ok..thanks, thig. Yeah I've just heard them say that here and there, and then I think it was on some College Game Day signs, and I've heard Grubes say it... I just didn't know where it started.

All those drops of old sounding ladies saying "Fat Joe?" are the mothers of the Hardline, Danny, Corby and Rhines.

I'm not sure if there would be any chemistry, but I think MIke Basik might make an interesting addition to the Hardline.
He's well spoken, would complement Rhyner's baseball obsession, is a huge Mavs fan, and has more in his sports bag than anyone currently or formerly on the Hardline.
I'm just not sure he has the right personality.

I don't think he's done with baseball though, so it would just be temporary.

peanut, if you send an email to grubes he might get it for you. I emailed him a couple of months ago for a drop and he sent me an mp3 the next day.
