Durants injury came too early...the Warriors had one stuff to do this year, cockblocking the stupid Rockets.
I hope they are able to do that.

This would be golden.

So, did that amazing "GM of the century" Celtics rebuild really just crash and burn? They still have some good young players, but they blew a ton of assets/cap on two guys that haven't panned out... Kyrie is almost certainly leaving this summer, and it's become apparent that Hayward will never be worth his contract after that injury. Kinda crazy to see it all fall apart so quickly.

Hayward was incredible bad luck....in his first game after like five minutes. But yes, he sat waaay too long on his pile of assets.
Funny thing is, the same could happen with the "Process" in Philly.

It's almost as if Steph/Klay/Dray/Iggy won a ring without KD/Boogie before...

Enough with the KD is their best player narrative. Everyone can be their best player if they decide to. And when they need it, the "struggling" splash brothers score 60 on 40 shots. Durant will remain an elite bandwagoner...

Fun fact: the Rockets win (maybe even the title) with Bev, Lou and Harrell instead of Paul

Love these playoffs so far. Floppets gone and dream scenario now would be Durant out or not returning to form. Then GSW could even win a title, bc that wouldn't count to douche Durant's résumé. And I don't mind any of the other teams winning either.

@JoshEberley: The James Harden Rockets have lost elimination games against both Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard teams without Durant and Leonard. Let that marinate.

Rockers are trash, but who is surprised by that? D'Antoni ball never wins in the playoffs.

Frank Vogel has agreed to a three-year deal to become the next coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, league sources told ESPN. Vogel met with Lakers management on Thursday and talks escalated quickly toward an offer on Saturday to end the franchise’s tumultuous coaching process with his hiring, sources said. – via ESPN
Jason Kidd has agreed to a deal to become a prominent assistant coach on Vogel’s staff, league sources said. The Lakers are enthusiastic about the prospects of Kidd working with point guard Lonzo Ball on a full-time basis, and Kidd does have a strong relationship and history with LeBron James. –

Really fun ending to the Raptors-Sixers series. I can’t believe that last shot went in. Shooters roll I guess.

What happened to Ben Simmons? There is no question Luka is a better player IMO.

@ShamsCharania: Pacers free agent Tyreke Evans has been dismissed and disqualified from the league for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program.
@AlexKennedyNBA: Tyreke Evans must wait 2 years to apply for reinstatement after being "dismissed and disqualified from the league for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program." Chris Andersen went through this too. He was dismissed in 2006 and was reinstated in 2008, joining Denver.

Eh, Toronto still has little chance especially with Brogdon back in the lineup. Good game though...finally.

rofl, Magic throwing the entire Lakers franchise under the bus to make him look better.
Have fun signing Demarcus Cousins in the offseason. Why should anyone go there with all the other much better options, including the Clippers in the same city...
