Raptors guard Danny Green was the highest vote-getter not to make either roster, receiving 19 First Team votes and appearing on 28 Second Team ballots. Patrick Beverley, Derrick White, Jimmy Butler, Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, James Harden, Malcolm Brogdon and Stephen Curry all logged First Team votes in the backcourt but fell well short of the requisite number of votes to make either team.
While four deserving guards filled the All-Defensive guard slots, there were some head-scratching votes in the backcourt, including the First Team nods for Harden and Curry and a Second Team bid for Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving. |

@LeftSentThis: Have you noticed that there hasn’t been a single story/controversy about the NBA refs since the Rockets were eliminated? There hasn’t been anyone falling down while shooting jumpers. None of that sh*t.

Thank goodness I'm not a Rockets fan. They have to make it work, especially with Paul's contract. Problem is their best shot was last season and I think they know it. Paul's only getting older and way more expensive. $44mm at 36 for an injury prone guard? LOL

I hate how Moreys newest discovery now completly ruined the game. The mathematical best shot isnt anymore the three or the layup. Its flopping at a 3-pointer resulting in three FTs.
Thats the whole reason why Harden started to flop like crazy on them. I saw a statistic, he had like 230 fouls and the next guy in the list like 30 or 40... Cant wait until Morey just goes away... |

All they need to do to solve a great deal of the issue is change the landing zone rule to apply only when the shooter goes straight up and not allow them to jump forward left right and all around like Harden does. Then seriously eliminate the corner 3 because there are guys who shoot the 3 at a respectable 37 overall but shoot 50% from corners. Meaning they really aren't respectable it's just the corners that drag up a sub par average to respectable. There really shouldn't be 3 points awarded for a shot that's nearly 2 feet shorter than other 3's anyway.
