I called for some Hardy minutes prior to the game. I said if we struggle on offense with Wood out and THJ hobbled, then there's not much to lose to see if Hardy gets hot.
Then again, the Magic are long and play bigger lineups so that could be a factor. But if he's not earning spot minutes in situations like this, I find it hard to believe he will wind up at 15 mpg by season's end. That would be a draft coup, imo.

Hardy with another stellar g league outing. 24 points and 5-10 on threes last night, 6 assists, 7rebounds. In three games he is averaging 28 ppg on 53% shooting and 44% from three. If he had those numbers last year, then he might've been a lottery pick. Keep it up!

Being successful in g-league is no guarantee that he'll be successful in the NBA, but it certainly doesn't hurt and it looks like he may just be one more year than expected, which isn't bad for a guy who turned 20 just a few months ago and still can't drink. If he keeps up his play and is shooting 40%+, he'd definitely have been a high lottery pick.
Not expecting much from him this year in the NBA, but I definitely have no ruled him out of being a big part of this team next year or the year after like Dallas41 has.

I'll be surprised if he doesn't make it in the NBA. There's just so much talent there. Far, far less talented players have had very long and successful NBA careers. But he was always going to be a long term project. I was never expecting anything in year 1, and honestly I'm not getting my hopes for year 2 even, beyond being a minor rotation player. Year 3 though I would expect real NBA production. If it hasn't happened by then, then it probably won't happen.

29 points. 64% shooting, 43% from three. He did have 7 turnovers as a black mark, but still, he really couldn't be playing much better down there.

Hardy destroying the G league yet again. Legends were down 20 and came back to win by 2. 35 points on 12-18 shooting 5-9 on threes.
Again, if he did this last season with the ignite, then he woulda be at the very least a mid first.

Would THJ or Bullock sniff those g league numbers if they went down? Nah

Another great shooting night. Hardy is also strangely good at blocking shots.

Hardy leads the g league in scoring on 55% fg, 48% three, 87% from the line. Guess it's time to go to Legends games instead.

How is this guy not able to steal Campazzo?s garbage minutes? Hell I?d give him THJ minutes. At least it appears he can make open shots.

100%. Give Hardy Thjs mins and give Green Bullocks mins. Let these kids grow together. One trick ponies like thj and no trick ponies like dfs and Bullock need a back seat.
