The idea is to give him the experience by playing him. Williams is a very good point but as to him being the best point is conjecture on your part. I think that the league is being transformed into a quick point guard league. Thats the future. Williams is playing for a very well balenced team put him on a lesser team and see what he does if he is the total focal point of a defense. That does not mean he is not a hard player to cover it is just that aquiring him would cost the Mavs too much and those resources could be better be applyed to shoring up the interior. I would give Roddy the chance to develop at the point because he will be more valuable in the future to cover the quick points that a lot of other teams seem to possess now. Williams and others like him are not quick enough to cover those types of guards.
