Players To Visit Simon Malls/Giftcard Available Dec.4

What: Mavs players Devin Harris, Josh Howard and Erick Dampier will make individual appearances at three Metroplex Simon Mall locations and sign autographs for fans.

When: December 1, 3 and 5, 2004

Where:
Dec. 1 – Devin Harris, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Irving Mall
Dec. 3 – Josh Howard, 7-8 p.m. at North East Mall
Dec. 5 – Erick Dampier, 1-2 p.m. at Golden Triangle Mall

Why: The Dallas Mavericks and six area Simon malls have joined forces to introduce a professional sports giftcard. The Simon Mavericks Giftcard will launch on Saturday, December 4 at the Dallas Mavericks game. To celebrate the new card, Dallas Mavericks players Devin Harris, Josh Howard and Erick Dampier will be on hand at area Simon Malls to meet shoppers and sign autographs throughout the week.

The Simon Giftcard is a Visa prepaid card that can be used at Simon shopping centers nationwide and anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. The Simon Giftcard is already the largest Visa gift card program in the country. Simon completed a rollout of the Simon Giftcard in 2003 at more than 150 Simon Malls nationwide and sales registered a significant increase over comparable gift certificate sales the previous year. Simon Giftcards are available in increments of $20 to $500.

The Simon Mavericks Giftcards will be sold at North East Mall, Irving Mall, Golden Triangle Mall, Midway Mall, Longview Mall and Broadway Square Mall beginning Saturday, Dec. 4.
