With baseball season starting up, I wanted to know who everyone had as their favorite team...
I like the San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, and the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League....
And I like the Boston Red Sox, Oakland A's, and the Kansas City Royals in the American League....

Cubs!!! Well...actually I'm more of a Sammy Sosa fan than a Cub fan. He is great and really bulked up over the off-season. I think he has a chance at 70+ homers this season.

I don't think Sammy will hit 70 this season IMO. Not with the new strike zone.

I don't think that the new strike zone will effect him because he usually swings at anything in reaching distance. He does need to work on laying off pitches.

man, sammy used to be awful at taking pitches. i swear he swung at everything.
but i've been a cubs fan for as long as i can remember. i was really pissed this year at the mistreatment of mark grace (my favorite player) by cubs management. now he's with the d-backs, which is good for him, but now the cubs have ron coomer and matt stairs platooning at 1st base.

I like Matt Stairs, but I don't know why. I haven't really kept up with him before, but for some reason I like him. I saw him in some highlights last season with the A's. He hits the long-ball pretty well.
