KP - knee - downgraded to doubtful
Frankie - calf - upgraded to probable
WCS - personal - out

Josh Hart - knee - questionable
Zion - foot - out (ate one too many hamburgers and reaggravated/experienced soreness during rehab)
Hommes - out
Louzada - out

Read it was just a contusion so likely a knee to knee situation and being cautious on the front end of a B2B. If it was general soreness, that would be more concerning.

Honestly don't care that WCS is gone. I love that Kidd is willing to play with the starting lineup, but sadly WCS is so raw that he's not really an upgrade.

I meant more for his family or personal health, whatever is going on.

Spot on though, he doesn't provide much to the rotation. He seems to have not developed much from college tbh thought he would be one of the good ones from Kentucky.

Sorry, I meant more as a player I don't care.

As a person, I wish him the best. I know he's had some family stuff and rumors were it was his kids and one was sick.

Same with Bullock. He just lost a family member and that is what caused him to miss preseason (another reason we should give him 10-20 more games before being critical). Rumors were it was a child. Maybe his kid or maybe a nephew.

His son Treyson has been seen in public. Besides There's no way he just returns to play basketball after losing a son. He already lost a parent, his sister and a brother turned Sister.

Yeah, I responded to this on twitter. If I was the owner, I'd fire every single person who even thought in their heads that Luka needs to pass more.

This is why every FA and draft is a joke now because the stupid has spread across the organization.

The thing that sucks is that when the Mavs go down, it’s over. That’s it. Mavs try something, fail, and then roll over like a submissive dog or just aren’t even good enough to even come back.

When the Mavs go down even one, you can safely turn off the TV, because that -1 will become a -6 will become a -12 and then -25 before teams will mercy bench us and we cut it to -17.

That’s it. Either we’re good and confident for a whole game or we cry like a spoiled child.

Mavs now 23rd in Net rating

That puts us 10th in the west and behind the Spurs and TWolves

This team really isn’t a playoff team. They’re been playing like a 10 seed and have been there all season— even when we were winning.

We’re good enough to blow our lottery pick but not good enough to crack the playoffs at this point. What an awful purgatory to be in.

The only problem I had with Kidd is leaving Luka in for so long. He was absolute dog shit tonight and it started right away. Gotta realize that we were definitely losing this game midway thru the 4th and get EO, Green and MO in the game for fresh legs tomorrow. So now we will have a tired Luka, possibly no KP or THJ. Again, no coach is going to satisfy everyone's wishes with the rotation but it's been a long time since the consensus here has felt good with SLU and rotations.

We have narrowed it down to the simplest of terms....we just aren't good enough. We all know why and we still get pissed.

Someone start the countdown for the TD. Nico and Cuban are on the clock.

Kidds right though. This team was never going to be a top 10 defense, lol. We don't even have a FN center. DFS is solid more often than not but he isn't a great defender. Frank may be our best defender and he barely started getting consistent mins before getting hurt. Kleber is a patchwork tweener defender but he's not locking anyone significant down. No one else is reliable consistently.

But the team was playing it. That is a simple fact. Problem was the offense needed to get going. That is/was a much bigger worry so they stopped playing pretty good D and the offense never got going anyway. Which means it's just a team without an identity.

So basically, they aren't really good at anything anymore.

Nope. We don't have an identity. They played defense really early. But it doesn't mean it is who we are and we just aren't getting it done.

Luka, THJ, KP, JB. Those are our best players. Not one of them are defenders and they get bulk of meaningful mins. The rest of the roster is highly overused filler. We arent built for defense.

Unfortunately we have a team of 3 and D players with zero skills. 2020 draft killed us.
