i just watched bully tonight. i know alot of people have talked about how it is disturbing and somesuch..but, i wasn't really disturbed or shocked. i guess i'm not easily shocked
however, it was a good movie.

i had actually seen something about that particular case that the movie was based upon...
the people involved in real life are not nearly as attractive as the actors/actresses in the movie.. kinda funny how they tricked that up a bit.

they left out some details about the case.. about how the "bully" and his best friend had tried to get some guy to dance naked for them..so they could tape him and sell it.. when he refused, they both beat the living daylights out of him..

Haven't seen the movie, but I saw something on Discovery the other night that sounds like what you just said Murph. These two disturbed guys made a porno type video with this guy they met at a club. Then when he wouldn't do another one, they beat the shit out of him. Later on, one of the guys gets killed...anyway, is this the same story bully was based off of?

Murphy, if you have DVD player and rent a fair amount of movies I would suggest Netflix. I've been a member for about a month and love it. Great selection no late fees.

Someone I work with mentioned NetFlix. You can keep the movie as long as you want. So if you watch movies several times they are supposedly the way to go. I think you pay a monthly fee, and they mail you the movies that you rent. You can get as many as you want and keep them as long as you want.

I love it. The standard plan lets you keep 3 at a time. You set up a list of what you want to see on their site. When you return a movie, they send another one to you. I can see about 10 DVDs a month with their plan for $20 a month.

Plus the selection is awesome. I have found lots of movies I've wanted to see for some time.

I would love to sign up for that service. It wouldn't be worth it for me during basketball season though. Between my 2 year old daughter and the mavericks, there isn't much time left over to watch movies all the time. I will be checking into it after the season is over.
