Time to steal another game 1. According to Denver posters the nuggets also don't play well during the day too, let's see who can suck less!
Let's go teh mavs!

Random stat: The Mavs and Nuggets have identical records against winning teams - (22-22).

In early March, the Nuggets slumped into 7th in the West, then went on a 13-1 surge.
Sounds intimidating? Look at their schedule.

This is something I've been thinking about for quite a while. The reason the Nuggets were "sizzling" entering the postseason was they played a BUNCH of lottery teams. And they looked damn impressive in the 1st round because NOLA had morphed into the 9th best team in the west, was injured, quit, etc.
Just BEFORE that stretch I believe the Nuggets had slumped to 7th, gone 3-8, and suffered 40+ point losses to KGless Celtics and the Nets.
Then again, if looking at entire body of work, Mavs looked unimpressive many times during the regular season too.
But still, Denver really is not THAT good IMO. and I think their recent "superb" play is somewhat of a mirage due to the schedule.

Narf, now there is a game that would have made a perfect evening in Germany, starting about 8 pm - and I am in friggin' OZ and make it a 3 am game again.
So it's the alarm clock again *sigh*.
See you later then!

i wont be here at the start of the game but I'll record the start and then skip the timeouts and quarter breaks - I'll prolly be home by halftime so I can watch the 4th quarter live .
I hope for a win but even if we lose this one it isn't too bad - I dont expect us to steal more than one in Denver this series.
Since the All star break (without the first series because NO was hurt):
Denver:
18-11
13-2 at home (6 vs playoff teams (4-2)
5-9 on the road (7 vs playoff teams 3-4)
Dallas:
19-11
15-1 at home - of that 7 against playoff teams (6-1)
4-10 on the road - of that 7 against playoff teams (1-6)
We have definetly not played good on the road and denver is a pretty good home team - I do not believe that they can beat us at home though so we just have to somehow get one of the 4 games in denver. First chance today!
And I feel like we will use it. I just don't think Denver gives us as many problems as everyone wants to make it seem.
I aim to get my 1000th post in to gratulate our team for the win of this series!

If we can get this first game, the Teams chances increase greatly and I think we will be headed to the WCF. Go mavs : ).....smart ball
