Whatever Happened to that Guy?: The Game
Thought of a game last night, maybe some of you old posters and long-time lurkers want to try it out with me.
The name of the game is "Whatever happened to that guy?" The rules are simple:
1. Name a player no longer in the league who, when brought up in conversation, would elicit the response, "Oh yeah. Whatever happened to that guy?"
2. The point of the game is NOT to name the most obscure player, but rather a player who was an impact/rotation player who just kinda disappeared from the NBA.
3. Responses should NOT be in the form of, "He went to China for a few years and officially retired in 2012," but rather in the form of whether or not the player is worthy of a "Whatever happened to that guy?"
For example former Mavs player Jón Arnór Stefánsson would not be worthy of a "Whatever happened to that guy," where Jerry Stackhouse might.
I'll get it started.
Wally Szczerbiak: Played for the Timberwolves, hit a bunch of threes, got kicked in the face by Bruce Bowen. "Whatever happened to that guy?"

Roddy Beaubois: walked on water (three times!), was featured on a kinda racist t-shirt that Mike Fisher pushed on his band of idiots so he could pay his mortgage through the economic crisis, would have been the next Jordan if Rick Carlisle wasn't such a meanie head... WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THAT GUY???

Josh Howard, remember that guy? The one who couldn't control what the ball do, or what the bong do? Whatever happened to that guy?

Remember Ryan Hollins? The guy who rode Tim Duncan like a horse, dug a grave for the over-the-hill Spurs, and then rode off into the sunset...
Whatever happened to that guy?

Harold Miner. Slam dunk champion. Dubbed 'Baby Jordan'. Supposedly on his way to stardom. Whatever happened to that guy?
Scottie Pippen. Great NBA career, but maybe best remembered for refusing to get off the bench at end of game, career basically went downhill after Jordan left the Bulls. I wasn't even aware he played several more years after his stint at the Rockets. Hasn't really been heard from since, except for stopping by Cuban's house hoping to get a tour (Cuban declined). Whatever happend to that guy?
