What is more powerful:
Luka and Kyrie?s awesomeness
Or
The immense pile of shot that is our defense
I think it?s obvious

You don't always have to go for the 3 right way
Lots of teams take the quick two if it's open in that situation especially with plenty of time left like 15 seconds
But it doesn't matter because they were so hell bent on putting up the 3 they didn't get a shot off at all

I?m aware. I?ve been preaching that game for a while.
Looks like the shit that is our defense is the kryptonite and it doesn?t matter how good our offensive players are, we?re not going to win much because we can?t rebound or defend

I mean we all know Kidd is ass at drawing things up and should have been fired long ago.
Roster is shit, but his coaching is worse. Dude just wants to be fired at this point.

Kidd is not the right coach. Wouldn?t mind an internal promotion (St.Jean or Sweeney), but Kidd must go.

Can Kidd coach defense? Nope
Can Kidd draw up plays? Nope
Can Kidd get guys hustling and playing their best ball? Nope
Why do we have Kidd? Rick was ass but he could at least draw up a play. Kidd can?t do a single thing well as a coach other than slouch and sigh and answer questions like he?s deeply stoned in pressers.

Problem is Kyrie likely came here partly because of Kidd.

I mean, we won three games then came VERY close to winning the other two at a time when everyone is out for blood. I'm not overly upset to be honest.
But that fun run and gun vanished with Luka back. That can't be just a coincidence. Gotta at least find a middle ground.

No Wood down the stretch. Seems pretty safe to assume he?s walking after the season is over. Why is Pinson all the sudden getting minutes?

It wasn?t his choice though. However wonder if he would?ve got along with Rick? It would be an interesting pairing.

Kidd will not last under the pressure of the media. Kyrie brings too much light on the team.
He legit has no business being a head coach and I can?t wait til the day he?s fired. Whenever that may be

Reading the 4th quarter Luka and Kyrie put things together.
I hope it?s something they build on. Like for the very next game.

Yeah but Luka doesn't want to run at that pace
If he could keep up with Kyrie, Green, Hardy and Bullock it would be perfect but Luka ain't trying to play up-tempo.
That pace allows Dallas to get easy buckets but i just don't see how Luka can adjust to that style in just 30 games left in the season
But it's also becoming alarming that going very small might be the only chance this team has to survive in the playoffs because our bigs just aren't consistent
Now all of sudden a small ball 5 like DFS is badly needed in order to get 3 guys on the floor that can move defensively
You just can't live with Luka and Kyrie without surrounding them with defenders.

Yeah, that's why he has to come into shape next season. Can't be last in fast break points anymore.
I heard Kenneth Faried wants a come back. Perfect small ball 5 who can actually rebound lol.

He wasn?t really in bad shape this year though.
Personally don?t like the 12/6/12/6 splits Kidd does with his minutes.

Yeah I hate the offense since Luka came back. The offense just bogs down when he?s running the offense. Just guys standing around watching him dribble.

It?s so weird. The handling of Wood is wierd. Why did they even trade for him and why didn?t they trade him? What bothers me most is I?m afraid we will make Kyrie and eventually Luka.

Wood should be fucking starting. Powell is just good enough in like 1 of 5 games that they seem to start him no matter what. Wood starting would make us unstoppable on offense because let's face it...we aren't playing defense anyway (even coach just said it).
But I've given up on the Wood thing. They just don't like him.

Mavs have had a good, starting-caliber center once since 1999 when I started watching
And that year they had a championship
We?ve suffered through Diop, Dampier, LaFrentz, McGee (both times), Bogut, Mahinmi, Zaza, Dalembert, Kaman, and so many more

Is that really a Mavs issue though?
It seems like that as the knock on him before he even came to Dallas.
Maybe they had no intentions of keeping him beyond the deadline when they 1st acquired him but his trade value was so low that decided to just keep him and let him expire
I personally think McGee when engaged has the best chance to help the team.
But even when he plays well it doesn't matter because Kidd goes right back to Powell anyway.
AT this point I don't think it matters who the big is on this roster as long as Powell is here the organization will always be loyal to him.
