The West is so versatile. Pop has to tell everyone what they are... Dirk you are 4. Garnett you are 2. etc. He ran his practice much more loose than Van Gundy and there is much more running involved.

It only last about 30 minutes. Pop didn't give them anything specific. They did a variation of the weave for awhile. First it was 3 man weave. Then 4. Then the big man had to pass it a certain way to get it started. That went on for a few minutes to get them loose. Then Pop would make them inbound th ball and go the length of the court and run a few "mock" plays. Post players would flash, set some picks, pick and rolls, etc... and someone would finish.

Then he made them shoot, similar to the old "star" method. From one corner, then the bank, to the elbow, to the paint.

Most of the guys would throw it down when they got to finish. Dirk would just nonchalantly lay it in with an underhanded flick of the wrist. He and Duncan (besides Nash who can't dunk) were really the only two that didn't try and throw it down everytime.

Btw, make sure yall turn it on TNT at 4:00 central time to catch Doug Collins interviewing Dirk, John Thompson making KG cry, and Froggy interviewing Cash.

I saw the Dirk interview..just the same old same old

"i'm playing hard, i'm not a vocal leader..steve is my best friend, i'm sad to see him go.." yada yada yada

I do want to know what song they were using for the dirk clips

I remember listening to it a couple years ago..it was either Simple Plan or Fountains of Wayne, but i can't remember the name of the song.

It wouldn't be the same old same old if they would ask tougher questions. Barkley even Nash about Dirk. There is more to their games than each other. Ask Dirk about this year's team, and the dynamics of it instead of dwelling on the past.

Did anyone catch the TNT ad in which Dirk orders pizzas, roses and animals from Sacramento Zoo for Webber? I thought it was hilarious!

Haha that was funny. He ordered a bunch of stuff to go to Webbers house, he even called the Sacramento Zoo. Then the pizza guy rings Webber's door bell and a bunch of deliveries are there that Dirk ordered. Then webber says "DIIIIIIIIIIIIRK"

Dim, it was an ad about Rivalry week - the week when Mavs play Kings. Dirk is playing a prank on Webber by ordering all kinds of stuff and then gets it delivered to Webber. Webber opens his door and inds all these people outside his home - he screams, "Diiirk!"
