Mavs have a very tough game tonight for the second night of a back to back coming off of an overtime game.

The crowd really needs to "get into it" and the Mavs might can feed off the energy/atmosphere.

We really need big games from Haywood/Damp in order to control Dwight (well, you can't control him completely) and the paint. Gonna be very tough. Orlando is a good team and it's the 2nd night of a b2b with the first one going to OT. A win would be great, but I wouldn't be too surprised if we lose. Don't get me wrong, I want a victory, but it's going to be difficult.

I think the magic haven't played since Sunday and we're coming off wins against denver and woke up in the 4th/OT against the grizz. Should be a W for us, need to start killing folks at home.

They just gotta stick to the idea that they have very capable centers to help try to work on Howard. I've always believed with the Magic or elite teams, stick to the complimentary players and let the star do what he does. If you can defend the 3 point line and make Vince have to work extra hard, then you've got a pretty decent chance of beating the Magic.

I will never give any team an excuse for losing the 2nd of back to backs no matter what. Not after GSW with 6-7 players playing 40 minutes, the night before, come in and beat the Mavs the 2nd night. There's just no excuse for it after that happened to us here, in Dallas. OT, age, forget it, it's the NBA and you're battling for playoff advantages. It's balls to the wall tonight. I would game plan the same way last time out, where we did not double Howard, let him work himself to death, guard the shooters on the perimeter.
