very, very few that are available to the mavs because they are over the cap..
if the mavs make any significant acquisitions, it will be done via trade.. one free agent that is available that has also been intriguing to many mavs fans is Oakley |

Smodis would love a chance to play in the League and might have convinced scouts that he has the ability. A little bit undersized for a power forward (6'8"  , Smodis can shoot the three and plays with more energy than anyone on the court. He created quite a buzz over the weekend. >>Got this from Fox Sports. Sounds interesting. But it looks like he's a "Najera" with a 3 point shot... wonder why little Nellie hasn't contacted him. |

there is that askrabic guy from yugo weve been scouting who wants to come here, he wasnt drafted so he's free.

Oh, I know someone we could probably get cheaply and that's Jerome James. Am I reading that right? Is Rodney Rogers on that list? He might be a little too expensive for us though. I'll have to give it better look in a minute.
