Default AI: It's all about Marketability

Dallas Trade Breakdown
Outgoing

Erick Dampier
6-11 C from Mississippi State
5.7 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 0.6 apg in 23.5 minutes

Marquis Daniels

Josh Powell
6-9 SF from North Carolina State

#28 Pick
Incoming

Allen Iverson
6-0 PG from Georgetown
33.0 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 7.4 apg in 43.0 minutes
Change in team outlook: +14.1 ppg, -10.4 rpg, and +3.8 apg.

Philadelphia Trade Breakdown
Outgoing

Allen Iverson
6-0 PG from Georgetown
33.0 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 7.4 apg in 43.0 minutes
Incoming

Erick Dampier
6-11 C from Mississippi State
5.7 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 0.6 apg in 23.5 minutes

Marquis Daniels
6-6 SG from Auburn
10.2 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 2.8 apg in 28.4 minutes

Josh Powell
6-9 SF from North Carolina State
3.0 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 0.2 apg in 11.7 minutes

#28 Pick
Change in team outlook: -14.1 ppg, +10.4 rpg, and -3.8 apg.

Successful Scenario
Due to Dallas and Philadelphia being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Dallas and Philadelphia had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I think you would need to get a 3rd team invloved as Philly wants more than that for Iverson.

Dallas would be laughed at if they made that trade proposal.

Try Daniels, Stackhouse, and Harris

Fine here's one better! Phily drafts Marcus Williams with the 13th pick.
And I'll keep that #28 Draft pick if you please.

If you trade for AI then you have to either trade Harris or let Jet go. There's not enough minutes for all three of them and none of them can play the 3.

I'd rather part with Harris than Howard in the above scenario for that reason.

And Philly has Hunter and Dalembert at center. They ain't going to want Dampier unless we take Hunter.

Cuban would have to bite the bullet on this one. We send out $18.4M in salary and take back $24.5. Is Cuban in a cost cutting mode?

But it is a feasible trade for both teams. Philly would save $6M this year ($12M with LT) and would get an exciting player in Harris.

I would not be shocked if Philly wants Stackhouse's expiring contract more than Daniels. If so then we don't have to throw Powell in the deal.

The first one would never happen.

The second one should be Harris instead of Jho.

The one proposed by MFFL looks like the best deal, and I think both teams would do it.
