According to a Giants boards Shockey broke his finger in pre-game.
Looks like he's still playing though.

The Niners lost by 3
They are now 5-6 and their playoff hopes aren't looking good. It's been a much better season than last year though.

Sorry about that. They seem to have a decent nucleus together though so next year might be a playoff year.
It would probably won't make you feel any better, but Frank Gore got lots of points for my fantasy team

Thanks, yeah I don't think any Niners fans expected a playoff year this year, they've really done well. They have a good chance next year with their young team they are only going to get better. Alex Smith is looking like a legit NFL QB, Gore looks like an elite RB, and Vernon Davis is a nice looking young TE. IT should be a good year next year.
And he got lots of points for my team too

I am glad the Giants are winning. I don't want us ahead of them when we play. That would make it too easy.
Winner take all.... drama drama drams.....
I want a grind it out, smash mouth football game next Sunday. I want to see Shockey crying on the sideline when the game is over. I can't stand that cocky SOB.

It's now a 7 point game with 2 minutes remaining. The Giants will probably pull it out but with Vince, all things are possible...without Vince you might lose to K-State and A&M

Yea I've never seen such a soap opera prima-donna team. From tiki to shockey. The cowboys are soap-operas but they usually don't turn on each other.

Man, Vince is amazing. I swear the guy is one of the most clutch players I've seen. That scramble on 4th and 10 was a thing of beauty (although you gotta wonder what was going through that Giant DE's head when he just let go of Vince).

Looked like the DE thought Young had gotten a pass off and was trying not to get a roughing call that would've bailed the Titans out of a 4th and long situation. Made a good rush, and then a terrible, terrible mistake.
Young looked good. Didn't expect to see him performing like that this soon. He will be fun to watch for sure, even if not necessarily a great quarterback. But it was a heckuva 10 minutes for him.
Giants are playing under the stench of death. Gotta say I don't mind seeing it.

Anybody see Deangelo Hall try to pad his stats by picking up a cheap interception on a hail mary? He could have just knocked the ball down but because he didn't the Saints went to the locker room up 21-6 instead of 14-6.
It'll be a crime if he goes to the pro-bowl over Newman again.

Good to see Eli on the losing side... always rooted for him to fail after the way he pouted on draft day. (Unlike Rivers, who was humble, and said he was ready to be a part of the solution in SD).
Eli could still be a good QB, but this is his 3rd year, and that was an atrocious INT.

Vince could end up being a bust like Vick seems to be (although I really think Vince is going to be a good quarterback because he seems to have those intangibles). Regardless, he was pretty darn clutch for the last year and a half of his college career so it was fun to see him work some of his old magic today. I've always liked Vince so I'm pulling for him to be a good NFL quarterback.

vince is a more of a NFL type QB. He is a little more patient than Vick and I really think the main thing that has them compared is the color of their skin. Outside of that very diffirent players

No, they are compared because they both run a lot more than other QB's and that they are so fast. Their color skin has nothing to do with why they are compared, at least imho.

Looks like Eli has some Bledsoe in him. His last interception was the same one Drew threw in Seattle last year.
We were the better team for most of the day but they managed to pull even late in the game. Still, we had the ball and a good chance to win it on a FG. Worse case scenario, we go into overtime. The one thing Drew couldn't do is throw an interception...and that's exactly what he did.
That one still hurts.

The differences between vick and Young are huge. The biggest thing is that vince is 6-5 and Vick is 6-0 on a good day. Yes due to vinces arm angle he doesnt release it that much higher but it allows him to see things vick cant. Also Vince is much more pass first than Vick is. Actually in college there were quite a few times where i was thinking run run and vince would just wait and end up completing a pass.
Vince is also MUCH more accurate on short and intermediate routes. You can say what you want about Vince in college but his completion percentage for his career was 65% and while its down a good bit in the pros, it will rise. Also their running styles are completely opposite. Vince has ALOT more power and is such a long strider. Vick is quicker on cuts. They both run high 4.4s though.
The biggest difference between them though is that vince has so many intangibles. You can say what you want about him but the guy is just a winner...

The difference is we lost that game to Seattle, the eventual NFC champs while NY lost to the cellar-dwelling Titans!!!
That makes you smile a bit more, doesn't it?
