PGT: Dalembert puts up 18/12, Mavs fans run out of players to complain about
9-4, and that's all that matters.

Yeah, because you shouldn't critique players when they deserve it.
Dalembert played a great game tonight.

Dirk still played 32min and Ellis played 38min.
No rest at all.

I don't like that they don't get rest, but man, Monta sure seems like a guy that wants to play 48 minutes every night regardless.

29 points and 21 rebounds out of the center position tonight - Dalembert/Blair make a pretty decent two-headed monster in the right match-up (and without Wright).

I've heard Rick mention how he plays with a lot of emotion...and it got me thinking that Monta probably feels like he has gotten the shaft for most of his career. And that would really impact an emotional/heart on your sleeve guy.
I'm betting/hoping that he has grown through these rough patches (GS and MIL) and is super committed to impressing/pleasing Rick & Dirk. He wants to be...for the lack of a better word...accepted. By a Coach, Star Teammate, Owner, and City.
Monta has it all, and has been wanting to be wanted for a long time.
My guess anyway.

Sammy was 8for8 w 2blk. He should shoot it every time down court....right?

Not being able to protect a 28-lead and let it dwindle to five points against the worst team of the NBA at home in the first game of a back-to-back and the second game being on the road at Denver... mmhhh.
We got the win alright, but the way we got it was certainly NOT the plan.

Love the energy of Larkin. I feel a bit sorry for Mekel who had some decent games but is now warming the bench much more than he deserves.

Mavs once again shoot over 50%
Blair and Sammy looking good. can't ask for much more than they have been giving.
Monta not as efficient tonight, but still productive and active. the dude can throw a beautiful pass, and it appears that he actually embraces getting his teammates easy buckets.
Calderon needs to get at least 4 attempted 3s per game
Dirk/Marion/Carter OK, but nothing to special
still unbeaten at home.

Give me an 10th win tomorrow night. The faster they get a solid win streak going early. The better towards all star break.

Mavs need to start winning on the road. Tomorrow should be a good test. Denver isn't as good as last year, but they're still quite potent at home (and just merked Chicago).

I just like the way the team shares the ball thus far. Like above post set good back to back, on the road test for us.
