Dirk with the good defense in the last minute. Part of the reason why it always pisses me off when Carlisle takes hgim out at the end. He is one of their best defenders when it matters.....

Dirk has 4 blocks and is one of this team's best defenders, honestly. I really don't understand RC's insistence on taking him out for "defensive purposes."

21/7/3/4/2 with yet another team-high +10 for Dirk.

Wasn't looking like we were going to pull it out but Dirk came up big again down the stretch

The mavs need a sociopath. But one the size of artest would be better.

He's also one of few on the team to actually box out.

This team absolutely needs someone that's willing to call out teammates after mistakes. Dirk isn't necessarily that guy, nor does he need to be. Calderon is one of the longest-tenured veterans on this team and I like him taking a leadership role.
Great win for the Mavs. The Pelicans are a quality team, with or without The Brow, and they never make it easy on you in New Orleans.

Who was Calderon yelling at and why?

You were kind of not right. But never mind, there are still enough games to kick some predicting ass.

Haven't watched many Mavs games, have you? Dirk chews guys out when they need to be. It has more effect when you don't overplay that card (just ask Terry and Damp).
