Default Get Nash back to Dallas

Felton...Mekel...Smith..$$

for

Nash

We don't lose much and Nash get to retire with the MAVS ..plus comes off the books next year. We create a fee roster spots ...and can pick up JJ and later someone else if we need to. Plus maybe we can get Nash feeling better and get him to play a few games this year for the heck of it.

I am kinda kidding...I think we will get more from Felton than most people think.

Def excited for the season .....GO MAVS

So we just give up Greg Smith so Nash can sit in a suit on our bench the entire season and retire as a Mav? No thanks.

And why should the Lakers add Feltons 15-16 salary?

I like having Nash retire here, but you simply cannot trade guys who will play for guys who won't. Without Smith, we only have Chandler (injury prone) and Wright (situational) at center before we start needing Dirk and other forwards to play the position. That would be rough.

And I think Smith will get it together with more playing time.

Plus Nash made his career away from us and as much as I loved him as a Mav he should retire as a Sun. It is where his career took off and where he became the HOF.

What you talkin' about WhatYouTalkingAboutEllis?

Don't listen to that guy, Mike. You can't retire as a frickin' Spur.

Not only is Nash done, I've also lost a lot of respect for him for how he is handling this Lakers situation. Apparently he isn't even returning Scott's phone calls? Uh, dude. You're under contract.

I don't have any faith in a single thing Byron Scott is doing or saying. Lakers are even worse than they should be thanks to his incompetent coaching. I seriously doubt a guy as well-mannered as Nash would flat out ignore Scott's calls.

I'm not a Scott fan at all, but Nash isn't even going to practices when the FO would like him to mentor young players, so him not returning calls isn't out of the realm of possibility.
