The whole thing is sickening. Davis has said that anyone other than the Lakers that gets him will just get a 1.5 year rental.
That means that unless teams are really dumb and/or desperate, Lakers are the only bidders and no one is bidding against them. Davis has not only requested a trade, he's made sure that the Pelicans don't get even close to equal value for him. |
