Coach Don Nelson called Vernon Maxwell over to the sideline at practice Friday.
Maxwell, after 12 years in the NBA, knew what was coming. “Vernon, it’s time you start playing well,’ that’s what he told me,’’ Maxwell tells DallasBasketball.com. “I knew he’d eventually say something.
