Default GDT: preseason game 4. OKC at DAL. 7:30 (FSSW)

Dirk and Devin return
Acy (sore foot) and Mejri (knee surgery) are the only two who aren't available

We're playing the 2011-2012 OKC Thunder tonight?

More like

F Westbrook
F...that guy with the hair that plays dirty
F...that chunky guy that used to be on the Magic?

Damn, OKC has a lot of rookie forwards... Not sure if I'm familiar with any of these guys.

They'll likely play Reggie Jackson a lot of minutes to see what the kid has and rest Westbrook.

Jackson is in Detroit and he's out 6-8 weeks while getting platelet-rich plasma therapy for his knee.

Are you thinking Oladipo? Roberson?

Likely depth chart until their inevitable player movements:
C: Enes Kanter/Steven Adams
PF: Ersan Ilyasova/Domantas Sabonis/Nick Collison/Mitch McGary
SF: Kyle Singler/Josh Huestis
SG: Victor Oladipo/Andre Roberson/Anthony Morrow
PG: Russell Westbrook/Cameron Payne

There were three, and now, there is one... the Mavs play the one man team named the Thuderbrook and Dirk returns... not a happy night for the visiting team... this Harden-less, Durant-less-, Ibaka-less "team" will have a long and sad season, and tonight is just the beginning....

Mavs - 108
Thunderbrook - 99 (no matter the 20 point, 10 assist, 10 rebound, 10 steal, 10 block, 20 TO game by Mr. Lonebrook)

God I have to think they would rather start just about anyone over him. I didn't go out of my way to watch their games or anything but he didn't even look like an NBA player to me when I watched them.

I dont like Westbrook attitude, and he can be a punk off and on the court, but at least hes not a people pleasing bish like Durant who will say whatever based on people's reactions.

He was on Any Given Wednesday (HBO show) with Bill Simmons and simmons is trying to talk to him normally, but Durant kept coming off whiny and with a chip on his shoulder.

Deron looked nimble on that finish. I did a double take, thought justin anderson had been subbed in. Has he slimmed?

Barea looks midseason form.

It's going to be a fun team this year while coaches maintain the health of Bogut, Dirk, and Deron.

No more Energy Eddie on the telecast? I thought Najera was doing a good job. He was nervous at first, but he really seemed to be a natural with pretty decent basketball insight.

I thought his basketball insight was great but a few ppl I watched games with last year would tell me he was hard to understand at times.

Powell looking more consistent with his jump shot. It would be huge if he could hit mid to long range shots consistently.

Finney-Smith looks like he's got a lot of potential as well. He definitely looks like he's a natural at the defensive end. I haven't really looked at the state of the roster, but is there any chance the Mavs can keep both him and Brussino?

This Bruce Hornsby guy is a slugger. Wonder if Rick keeps him. And Collinsworth is competitions for that spot too. Interesting.
