Default Pat Conroy

He's the only author that has written books that I really liked. I read Prince of Tides and Lords of Discipline last year, but those were picked by my English teacher in HS. I'm thinking of picking up one of his other books, but I don't know which one to get. I'm thinking of getting 'My Losing Streak' since it is about basketball. Anyone have some input? Thanks-Greg

Default RE: Pat Conroy

I enjoyed Prince of Tides, and to a lesser degree Lords of Discipline. But my all time favorite Conroy novel is his first, The Great Santini. Highly recommended by yours truly.

I think you are actually talking about 'My Losing Season'.... never heard of the Streak one.... but Losing Season is excellent as well.

Either one you won't be disappointed in. But definitely check out Santini.
