in todays dallas mourning news, nelson states that the team will see a booth-shawn combo with regularity. He also stated they even talked about a Finddawg at the 1 spot, dirk at the 2, howard at the 3, booth at the 4, and bradley at the 5 lineup. I don't see Dirk gaurding a 2 man though. . . but never the less Nelson feels the need to tinker. Given his success at it, who can really argue?

That would be the only problem I see with it is defense on the perimeter. Imagine if he goes with that lineup against Houston. I don't know if Dirk can hang with Mobley. However he would LIGHT Mobley up from the offensive end.

one problem wouldn't be from guard penetration. they could let guards penetrate more with all of the shot blockers in the game. it would be intriguing. maybe they should throw it out there for a few minutes in an upcoming game and see what happens. it's obvious no 2-guard could guard dirk on the perimeter.

LAM you can at times be condescending however it's not taken in the wrong way by me. However the entire purpose of this board is to voice opinions and agree and disagree which is what EVERYONE does on this board.

just curious....it's always funny when people are verbally threatening physical violence via the internet....especially when it's because someone is disagreeing with your ideas.

I'm just reasserting my own ego here, but if any of the sportstalk guys remember, I predicted this lineup on the day of the trade when we were all going nuts in the rant...
