Are we going to end every game with a ton of made threes by Dirk and Williams?
I'll take it.

Finish them off Dirk. Gutsy win by the Mavs tonight. OT was unnecessary but I loved the fight they showed once Boston went on their run to get back in the game and take the lead. Hopefully this can be the start of a win streak.

That third quarter let down that we are so famous for..... 18 points. We scored 20 in 5minutes of OT. Just pathetic. We completed the failure quarter with 0 defense played.

Jae Crowder butthurt
Crowder was asked about defending Nowitzki, his former teammate, and cautioned that he can't be played too tightly.
"You can't get too physical with him," Crowder said. "He flops, knows how to get the calls."

That's funny... Marcus Smart and Avery Bradley both seemed to do an okay job on Dirk in the second half. Crowder was the only one I routinely saw Dirk totally dominating.

I really only noticed Crowder guarding Dirk at the end of the game which is usually when the refs realize they've been screwing over the Mavs the whole game and it's time for some picky make up calls. If I were a player, it would be impossible to determine what is a foul because it changes quarter-by-quarter if not minute-by-minute.

Celtics legend/color commentator Tommy Heinsohn recently said Kelly Olynyk has “the potential to be better than Dirk Nowitzki.” Dirk’s reply: “Yeah, I mean, I like the kid. I’m just not sure about all that. But I really do like him. He’s a good shooter. He’s improved from year to year, so I do wish him the best. He can be a really good player, but I don’t know if his ceiling is all the way up there.” Olynyk is only 27,162 points shy of Nowitzki after the No. 6 scorer in NBA history had 31 points during the Mavs’ overtime win over the Celtics. “He’s got a long way to go,” Nowitzki said.

Can't see him getting close to Dirk career numbers but do wish we wouldn't have virtually traded him for Larkin.

Disrespectful to Dirk seriously. Kelly's been in the league 3 years and isn't even a starter on a middle of the road team. My response to Boston's drug issue is pretty obvious. Parsons has potential to be better than Bird. I mean at least Parsons is a starter.... barely

Disgusted by Crowder. I hope he was at least joking a little.
But I guess this means Crowder's shirt won't be hanging from the rafters at the AAC.

I remember watching that draft. And I was specifically eyeing Olynyk. I was so ecstatic when his name was called thinking wow they finally drafted someone that has serious potential....we know how the rest of that went.

Are we seriously discussing Kelly "Almost a Starter" Olynyk? A dude whose best season was 10-5?

So Boston has what, 3 of our draft picks from the past 3 years and our pick next year and Powell is basically all we have to show for it?
I love Powell but that was a high price to pay.
I guess an argument could be made that Larkin helped net Felton and helped dump Calderon but Boston has done pretty well dealing with us for the most part recently.
