Makes that damn Memphis game that much frustrating. Where was this urgency/intensity that night? I realize Phx is horris defensively. But come on.

kidd, dirk, jho and jet have 15,16,16,16 at the half. Dirk needed 6 shots to get there.

Lets get ready for the playoffs and just kick the crap out of them. Destroy their hopes.

This half was pretty shocking in a positive way

I had to relax quite a bit after that last 2 minutes.. and that last shot by Josh. Damn! What an amazing half by Kidd and the Mavs! What an incredibly lucky shot to end the half.

What a half! Reminds me of that game against Sacramento in the 2003 playoffs... didn't we also score 81 in the first half of that game?

Two things.

Yes, now we are up 22...and the Mavs have never blown a 22 point lead before...right? I think we'll win fine today, but the point is, it isn't wise to sit your star that long that early, particularly if they are a rhythm player. Because if the other team comes back, and your star is out of rhythm (like we've seen Dirk before), it is not good.

Second, we weren't up 22 the whole time he was resting. He does this against other teams when the lead isn't so big and it ends up biting us in the ass.

Kidd should grab some more rebounds and round out the day with a nice triple double.

Flac. And Duncan had 6 points. Imagine the things that would have been said about Dirk, had he scored only 6.
