Tyreke Evans?
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...-will-be-dealt
You think we could be in the running? What would SacTown be looking for?

If he could be had for $5-6M per year, I'd love for him to pick up where JET left off.

Cheap, young, not undersized - he's a solid defender and an above-average rebounder for his position, but he could definitely stand to improve his 3-point shot. His game isn't really all that similar to JET's, but his overall production could be.
Sounds like Evans and Cousins didn't get along, but Cousins ended up being the more valuable player so Sacramento is looking to ship Evans... We could probably center a package around Lamar Odom (he'd be a short plane ride away from L.A.), which could work straight-up, but there would likely be a bad contract or sweetener tossed into the mix.
Deron
Tyreke
Matrix
Dirk

Well he's on the books for 4 million for just this year I believe, or at most 2 years. But I don't really know what they could be looking for. I assume picks/youth or cap relief by tacking on a bad contract, but I don't know.

He's due $5.3M in 2012/13 and a $6.9M qualifying offer in 2013/14.

39th-best APG in the NBA this season - that's impressive for a SG/SF on a bad team... He's hardly a black hole.

Fair enough. Admittedly didnt see many Kings games this year.
Entirely possible that the guy has grown some and is improving his game.
He's definitely talented. Like a bigger Montae Ellis with less range and less reliable jumper. Definite buy-low candidate. Im sure Sac will want something decent in return. And would prefer to see a catch and shoot/lock-down defender type next
to D-will. Tyreke seems to need the ball in his hands to be effective.

I meant more in the super sixth man role. If we landed Deron, I don't know that he and Reke would be a good fit playing 30MPG together. Evans is a little too much of a ball dominator. I'd love to see him play 25-28MPG off the bench for us and just kill everyone's second unit, though.

God I wish. But I'm kind of pessimistic about this whole roster situation. They threw out the names Deron Williams and Dwight Howard and got Mavs fans excited. We already aren't going to get Howard now, what happens if we don't get DWill? Then what? Cuban is eyeing stars it feels like, he should taking Denvers approach and just packing the team full of top 15s at their position.

Something like
Tyreke
John Salmons
for
Odom
Beaubois
Wright
would work, and seems realistic... unfortunately we wouldn't be able to amnesty Salmons, and would be stuck with his albatross contract barring a trade

Tyreke would kill our game like he does in Sac.
Dribbles the ball too long and not a good passer!
