Default What is the " right offer " for Rondo

Boston says they are willing to trade him. Do you guya consider Rondo as one of the Big Fish Cuban would want??

I would start with this and if not I would probavly give up anyone other than Dirk. I say this even tho there are several guys I really wouldnt want to see gone.

Rondo
JET

For

Kamen
Collison
Roddy
Crowder

DALLAS
We get Rondo...enuff said
Jet comes home to retire and we help Boston by taking his 2 years left ..which are not that bad.
Dallas tries to make a push for the playoffs...if not then build for next year around Rondo...Mayo...and Dirk.

BOSTON
Kamen gives them a ligit C for the year and expirea $$
Collison becomes starting PG at a good price and can keep the team competative this year and give them options after that.
Crowder and Roddy are cheap and still have potential.
BOSTON stays competative...savea $$ and has lot of opetions next year.

Well, your "push for the playoffs" would only involve Jet since Rondo is out for the year.

In spite of his shine coming off with Boston's resurgence since he went down, I still think Rondo's one of the best point guards out there, and worth his contract when he's healthy. Tough to justify trading for him when he's pretty much guaranteed to miss a significant chunk of next season, but if Dallas did make a move for him they'd almost certainly be looking to do so with Vince and Shawn as the trade chips in order to keep their cap space open for a run at DH or Bynum.

Yeah Boston probably trade their future Franchise Player (when Pierce and Garnett retire)
who puts up a Triple-Double nearly every night for a bunch of crap Players.

Rondo is over valued and regardless dallas doesn't have the pieces to get him.

He's a terrible scorer, one of the least efficient PG's in the game, and a overrated defender, if Boston was smart they would deal him.

If anyone were going to be dealt for Rondo, it would have to be Marion, as his defence next to KG would have been really the only trade piece the Celtics would have been interested in. Despite that, the trade never would have happened. Rondo, additionally, wouldn't have been nearly as effective as Josh Smith, had the Mavericks decided to go for one of them.

I think that the mavs should offer Shawn Bradley and Sam Houston for Rondo. Maybe the Celtics would throw in a few draft pics as well.

Take Rondo + Wallace + Bass from Boston and send Lakin and 2 future picks to Boston and Marion and S&T Collison and Wright to third Teams.
