Mcgee and Rondo... What would it take?
I know it's unlikely but I think these are two players that would definitely salvage this offseason and instantly put us in contention in the west... The question is, what would it take to bring in these guys and maintain the nucleus of Dirk, Marion, Carter, and Roddy B

No chance we're getting Rondo. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea, but the Celtics are clearly making one more run, and we wouldn't have the pieces to help them.

I'd hardly consider Carter part of the "nucleus." I'd like him just fine as our eighth or ninth best player...not our third.

Let's be honest... Right now the Mavs have a nucleus of 1. That is it. They'd move every other veteran on team for absolutely nothing in return if they could. Yeah, I might be slightly prone to hyperbole..but only slightly.

McGee just got signed to a 44 million deal, and Rondo isn't going anywhere now that he's taken Allen's spot in the Big Three of Boston.
