I may resent being called a geek, but we can't get him without overpaying ridiculously. He's a young big man and one of the building blocks of Philly's team. They will have no interest in trading him.

Woud you do either of these if you were either team? Damp goes in both trades and dalembert comes here.....

I'd do Damp & Bass for Dalembert, but that 2nd deal gives up too much in exchange for too little...

EDIT: Dalembert would be an upgrade from Damp, Thaddeus Young & Willie Green would be sufficient starters at the 2 & 3 (allowing JET to play 6th man), and Reggie Evans would be a decent back-up for Dirk, BUT Josh is still a better #2 option than any of them and Bass might develop to become more useful than any of them (except Dalembert...)

no way we get him without really overpaying. He fits what they are trying to do (run and defend). He's also young.

Thaddeus Young is the guy they believe will be their franchise in a few years.. Unless a team is giving the sixers a ridiculous deal he will not be traded ( a legit young star). He has ridiculous potential (second youngest player in the nba, very high bball IQ). Iguodala would be traded before Young.

I would think Damp and bass would possibly interst them enough for a counter offer.
WE are overpaying like crazy for damp now as it is obvoiusly. So i wouldnt mind overpaying someone who could help us a lil more in the post offensively or at least not brick l;ayups and bumble away 3 of every 5 passes in the low post. I think Shawn BRadley and Dick Bavetta could give him a good race from end to end.
