I may resent being called a geek, but we can't get him without overpaying ridiculously. He's a young big man and one of the building blocks of Philly's team. They will have no interest in trading him.

no way we get him without really overpaying. He fits what they are trying to do (run and defend). He's also young.
Thaddeus Young is the guy they believe will be their franchise in a few years.. Unless a team is giving the sixers a ridiculous deal he will not be traded ( a legit young star). I would think Damp and bass would possibly interst them enough for a counter offer.
WE are overpaying like crazy for damp now as it is obvoiusly. So i wouldnt mind overpaying someone who could help us a lil more in the post offensively or at least not brick l;ayups and bumble away 3 of every 5 passes in the low post. I think Shawn BRadley and Dick Bavetta could give him a good race from end to end. |
