Shouldnt that have been a flagrant in CP3? He made no play on the ball and just pushed Giannis on that lob.

That was a thrilling finish with the steak and lob. Jru is such a great defender.

I really thought the refs were going to give the Suns that game at the start. Such an incredible streak of terrible calls and non-calls (Crowder obvious travel on fast break, no CP3 double dribble call leading to points and Holiday could #2 early, giving Ayton ft when he had his back to the basket AND was passing, Giannis goaltend, not letting Tucker breathe without a foul etc.

Bucks fought through it though. Bud went big with Portia and Lopez while Ayton was out, Holiday got hot and they really closed the gap quickley. Bucks do miss DiVencenzo. Teague is beyond washed. Forbes out of rotation because he can’t guard anyone. Conversely, the Suns miss Saric having to go Torrey Craig in non Ayton minutes. Think about how scary this Suns team would be if they drafted Halliburton instead of Jalen Smith.

I'm guilty of it too, but it's crazy how a series can swing and I hear all of the experts say a series is over only to see it swing the other way. It happened so many times this playoffs I can't count them. It's like when Woj picked against the Mavs every series and they won the championship. .....Experts.

My fault. You’re right. I must have read one thing and typed another.

Adrian Wojnarowski: ESPN Sources: Denver Nuggets G/F Will Barton has declined his $14.7M player option for the 2021-2022 season and will become a free agent. There’s a strong interest between the organization and Barton to negotiate a new deal once free agency opens in August. 14 hours ago – via Twitter wojespn

If Suns can’t finish the series after going up 2-0, you gotta wonder if the city is just cursed and if they’ll have some locker room issues to work on

You could have said the same thing about the 2006 Dallas Mavericks who were up 2-0 and lost. But someone might chime in "Dallas isn't cursed the Cowboys have 5 Super Bowls" Well the Arizona Diamondbacks also located in Phoenix have won a World Series. Curses aren't real anyway and the Suns were not some heavy favorite coming into the season or even the playoffs. So no there's no curse they need another big because Ayton has been the only who can slow down Giannis or get rebounds.

It's interesting that as much as guard play and 3 point shooting gets emphasized in current NBA the Lakers won last year (big team) and Bucks are one win away from winning this one (big team).

Its hard to say because he's so young but yeah he's definitely on paced....most euros aren't able to snag both All NBA and ALL Defensive teams...he's in elite company there especially doing it by his mid 20's.....

I hate it because Dirk is my fav player, but having won 2 MVP’s, DPOY, and if he wins the finals/finals MVP. It would be tough to make an argument that he isn’t especially knowing he still has a lot of years left to rack up stats/awards.

If Donnie was respected enough to have made decisions as you know, the GM when he was here, Giannis would have been a Mav too. But I know we wouldn't have had Luka and Giannis still the problem with this organization is Cuban meddling 100%.

I think Dallas has two horrible owners in Jerry Jones and Mark Cuban, two of the worst. Both essentially trying to be GM, Jerry is literally the GM.

Yeah I think Dirk will probably always have the title of the best scoring euro player I've ever seen....Giannis won't probably ever be a great offensive player(but damn as I say this......he's still relatively young...maybe he could someday?) but his all around game....its going to be hard to match. He's also physically gifted...

What a terrible call. Booker shoved twice with his elbow into Portis, who played perfect defense for once in his life, Portis blocks his shit and they call the foul on Portis. The ref who was shielded ran over to call it.

Giannis putting up one of the greatest performances in a close out game. MVP locked up assuming they finish the job here.

Does CP3 go to the Lakers next season to try and get a ring at the twilight of his career, or does he come back to Phoenix thinking they can win it next season?

Do you mean go to the Lakers for like the MLE or sign and trade? I don't see Paul taking the MLE although I guess crazier things have happened. Lakers have no cap space so who are they giving Phoenix, Kuzma's not really a fit on that team IMO but who knows maybe they take him just to get something. I'm going to lean towards him coming back unless we find out there's some issue, there usually is on every team Paul is on.

I don't get this, the Bucks were knocking on the door for several years they had Middleton a legit #2 maybe a #1 on some teams then they add Holiday. That's legit, the Mavs have none of that right now. Hopefully one day they do then I would think it's an easy decision to stay. But if it remains Luka on an island it's not the same situation as the Bucks at all.

I’m sure if CP3 says he’s coming they can shed salary. There is always a way. CP3 knows winning a ring will alter his legacy.

Middlteton and Holiday aren't superstars though. If the Mavs can't get talent like that, then sure, Luka leaves. Don't think those type of players are unobtainable though. Guess we'll see what Nico does.

You're right I thought Kuzma hadn't re-signed yet but he signed in Dec. they could probably dump him for no return and maybe Caldwell Pope if a team is interested both are making about 13 million a year. Guess we'll see.

Middleton is a #1 on NO team let's stop this....I'd even argue he's not even a #2 on a championship team....he's just not consistent enough. He goes in these spurts where he looks like the best player on the court but when its the game on the line that's Giannis.

Guys like Middleotn and True Holiday were out there for the Mavs to get if they wanted too. Brook Lopez too. Bobby Portis......Bucks built a great team, from a great culture and with a great superstar.

I agree. I think a big part of it is that they're underrated. Especially Holiday. He's one of the best two way players in the league. Can D it up as good as he can play offense. That's going to be tougher to find but much easier to find then hoping a superstar comes to us.

They're not superstars but they're stars. Everyone thinks of a super team with 3 superstars like the Nets those don't happen very often. But just having a superstar and two stars makes you a contender. I wouldn't just assume we're going to get that because that's not easy to obtain either.

My point was if I'm Luka I'm not just going to say "Giannis won and stayed on his team, I'm good I'm staying here no matter what" no, the Mavericks front office have a job to do and if they do it stay if not at some point he's gone and as we've seen with players there comes a point where you don't even blame the player for wanting out. AD wasn't going to win in New Orleans, Dame although older isn't winning in Portland. People blamed KD for joining GS but they didn't blame him for leaving Russ so much. So to me it's not just up to Luka if Luka stays, it's up the Mavs get the right players around him.

You are the most garbage poster here. Middleton is not #2 on a championship team? Then wtf did we just see are you saying he's not the 2nd best player on his team when it's widely accepted that he is? Get the f out of here you're not who you're portraying to be you're a guy laughing behind his computer you're trolling I see it because no one can be this stupid over and over. Middleton hit the clutch shot in OT in Game 7 vs Nets AND last night in the last minute to seal the deal. He is the Bucks closer. He is legit and unless you just don't know basketball you know this because again you're trolling.

Middleton averages about 20 ppg with 41% from 3 over 50% from 2, 5 assists a game for this last season and similar numbers the last 4 seasons and great defense you do no research and just use your eye test probably needing glasses or better glasses and say "nah that guy isn't very good" You're a joke. If he didn't have Giannis taking the ball a lot (which is justified) he could average 25 on another team and be the #1, not a contender but several teams that are in the lottery I guarantee would love to have him and make him #1. He is a multi time all star there is nothing anyone with any sense would say bad about him and here you are.

Middleton was never available he said he and Giannis were different and not leaving to other teams and they didn't. Like over half the shit you say you make up that's why I know you're trolling I'm on to you troll. You probably think we could have traded Boban for him.

And it's JRUE Holiday, again stupid.

You moron....the Bucks didn't draft Middleton...they got him in a deal for Brandon Jennings......that's my point about him being "available". You're too busy being a smart ass to get it.

Spellcheck changed it to "TRUE" grammar police...I'll be sure to edit it for your though.

Secondly, "JRUE" is their 2nd best player. No way around it. He was the missing piece. He was the one locking up Booker and Paul on the perimeter and giving them fits. Middleton was not their #2. And quite frankly, if we're being honest.....if the Nets had either Kyrie or Harden healthy I'm not even sure the Bucks pass them with how they were playing at that point......

You're a funny guy getting all emotional over NBA games and opinions lol.....creating burner accounts to address me....cursing and calling me out of my name......its somewhat funny and sad at the same time. You must live a beautiful life.

Now that I think about it....aren't you the poster who was in your feelings and told me you were blocking me? What happened? You got bored because no one was paying you any mind from the outlandish shit you say? So you really should be thanking me for even paying you any mind. You're welcome.
