Why Charlotte does it?
Devean George is an athletic swing who plays D. More of a Brown type player. Stack can create off the dribble which they lost when JRich left. They save some money, and Brown gets to move May which he doesn't really like.

Why Utah does it?
AK47 and his overpaid contract, net them a defensive minded Center, a shooter in Morrison, and a backup to Boozer who can play his same style.

Why LAC does it?
They have Randolf and Camby. Howard makes more sense in that lineup.

Why Dallas does it?
Stackhouse and George gone. Kaman has offensive skills from the center position. AK47 is a match with Dirk.

Kidd, (JJB, Terry), Wright/Green, AK47/Williams, Dirk/Bass/Singleton, Kaman/Damp
Has the makings of challenging for a championship.

Who wouldn't do this one and why?

The Mavs front office - because we like our team...

(but I certainly do think that Kidd/Terry/Kirilenko/Nowitzki/Kaman would have no problem hanging with the big dogs - especially with Damp, Bass, Barea, etc coming off the bench...)

Dont' see why the Jazz would give up Kirilenko.

We also need to acquire a shooter.

Jazz give up Kirlenko because he is a max guy who scores 12ppg now, and still has two more years after this one on his contract. Defensively, Okur and Boozer hurt them every year -- ending their championship dreams -- Diop would help there. They have Deron to drive, and Boozer's inside game -- they need a shooter at SF and Morrison can do that for sure. I'd say it was descent for them.

Shooters- Terry, Dirk, JJB, Kidd (somewhat), Green.

How many shooters do you need? Dirk on the perimeter with Terry and a slashing JJB would be able to break most zone defenses. And having Kaman and Kirilenko to work inside............

Bass/AK47 on the mid range game.

Wright/Green/JJB can get to the cup.

A starting front court of Dirk, AK-47, and Kaman screams soft.

Maybe we should just bring back KVH and Shawn Bradley...

I don´t see Charlotte doing it, and I´m not sold on Utah either. And of course, the Mavs won´t do it because George is really our guy.
