He picked Al Qaeda over America? That's why you type "Hussein?"

Dude, get a hold of yourself. Maybe it IS time to start giving nickles to other points of view.

Wasn't it Al Queda themselves who said that iraq was the central front in the war on terror?

hint: yes... You need to vote for Hussein.

Yup..he surely did. He was wiling to legislate a defeat for America in Iraq and his name just happens to be hussein. Kinda ironic isn't it?

Not nearly as wonderful as seeing it without any responsibility.

No...you choose to ignore what the war in Iraq became. A war between the US and Al Queda. They lost, we won...in spite of Obama's and the democrats attempt to surrender.

Dont play dumb, the word "Thug" IS associated with blacks as a stereotype, but I would be fine with it, but when you add "Hussein" and "Thugocracy" it is a double wammy to me. And, I dont agree that just because someone else posted an article somewhere else with a some questionable undertones, it is right to post it here with the undertones as a title then add things like "Hussein" to Obama middle name like that. Even the article did not put "Hussein" in there.

How about showing some class when you want to re-post articles like that? How about denoucing the undertones from the start, then talk about the meat and potatoes of the article as an arguement against Obama? Is that so hard to do? But, no the same posters have to continue down the road with this same "Hussein" BS. You want to talk about BS, then stop all this mess with Obama's names!!!!

Legislate a defeat for America...

His name just happens to be Hussein...

Ironic...

There is a reason why the more educated you get, the less likely you are to vote Republican, and the closer to Appalachia you get, the more likely you are.

Did he and the democrats not try to legislate a surrender in Iraq? There is a reason that the more liberal you get, the more elitist you become. Keep it snobby bro.

Why do you guess it rears its ugly head in the media and here as well. So, is the media trying to stir up racism? I think not. I think they are trying to report on the truth and not try to hide all this racism that is going on with this presidential race. You continue to add fuel to the fire, and you expect someone like myself NOT to point it out. All this talk here and in the media about Obama's middle name being used as racist and now you re-post this silly dumb as* article, and you juice it up more and add "Hussein" with "Thugocracy" and dont think I am not going to think nothing of it. I guarantee if someone posted some racist stuff on here about McCain, there would be a charge to ban them with a quickness.

You have people of all backgrounds here, and their backgrounds should be considered here on this message board. If there are people offended by this stuff, then the easiest thing to do is quit the BS and just argue the facts without the added BS.

Surrender? Surrender to whom? Didn't we get to Saddam Hussein without too much difficulty, and upend their government? Surrender to whom?

I am trying to teach you that Al Queda had declared Iraq to be the central front in the war on terrorism with the US. That they would run the US out of that country. To do this this the incited sectarian violence against the shias so that they would attack the sunnis.

This plan was laid out by Al Zawahiri and carried out by him.

The majority of mass suicide bombing in Iraq were done by Al Queda. After the bombing of the Golden Mosque exactly what Al Queda wanted to happen happened, shia began killing sunni.

At that time Obama and the democrats wanted to surrender, pushed for surrender, declared the war lost and voted many times to surrender. Only the republicans were willing to see it through and now we have a victory in Iraq versus a surrender to Al Queda.

If you are seriously interested...check out bill engrams blog for the details.

Swing and a miss!

The Shias and Sunnis didn't need Americas or al Qaeda's help to hate each other - this shit has been going on for centuries... It's the lack of a stable home-led government that escalated the violence... Try a history book before you quote your conspiracy theory sites...

No, I'm not seriously interested. Because I'm pretty sure that they aren't going to fly any more airplanes into buildings over here. What are they gonna do?

Nothing, according to a bi-partisan committee in conjunction with the FBI & CIA...

(but I'm sure Dud1394 can provide a better link that slants his bat-sh!t crazy viewpoint...)

You are very mis-informed. The shia/sunni were pretty much at a status-quo until Al Queda began murdering the shia, which in turn caused the shia militia to retaliate against the sunni.

Engram is far from a conspiracy theory site, and I think that Gen. Petraeus also agrees with me. But since he's an evil military guy, he cannot be trusted.

If you guys think that what happens in the middle east is not relevant to the interests of the US then so be it. Most responsible leaders do not agree with you.

Obama obviously doesn't think so either as he was willing to have the US defeated there, so you should vote for him.

Dude, they've been at each other's throats since 874 AD when the Sunni declared the return of Mahdi (what the f*ck do you think Herbert's "Dune" was about?????)

These guys...shot their WAD when they hijacked planes on 9/11. That's what they had. That is ALL they had. What are you afraid of, that they are going to hijack some planes again?

Dude, it has been more than seven years since they have made an act of agression against us. Seven years, and nothing. How long do you want to live in fear?

So your contetion is that the escalation in violence between those two parties would have continued without Al Queda' blowing up almost 3k folks per month? And why isn't it continuing now since they hate each other so much?

Chum...they've been fighting us in Iraq for 7 years. Your viewpoint of this is so limited it's ridiculous. I'm shocked that someone as intelligent as you have such a first graders grasp of the world's political situation.

You should be voting for Ron Paul if you truly believe the above.

Uh duh, no. And sure they had stability under Saddam Hussein. So does N. Korea.

If you want to argue that we shouldn't have invaded Iraq fine, but don't pretend that once we did nothing changed there.

The troop surge reduced civilian casualties to around 400 a month? Nice.

What would happen to civilian casualties if the US military pulled out of there?

Thank you...I stand corrected.

They've only been attacking us for 5 years. Better?

Not really - you don't even grasp the basics and you're trying to argue the advanced...

Well the NYTImes says genocide, at least 2000k per month for an unkowable lengths of time.

If you are saying that Obama is right that we should have pulled out, okay...I strongly disagree and believe that was a surrender.

Um, we just removed North Korea off our Blacklist...

(but no reason to expect you to know this - it's current!)

Try to keep up, what does N.Korea being on our blacklist have to do with how peaceful it is under der leader?
