I think yes. If he could throw a game and still put up great numbers he had to have been one great baseball player. Everyone knows he was wrong, but I think this penelty is a little too large.

I think this is the WORST thing in baseball. He should DEFINATELY be put in the Hall of Fame. There aren't many baseball players who played the game as HARD as Rose did and he holds the all-time hit records, he should be there. Hell Ty Cobb is a racist, Babe Ruth was a womanizer, beat on women and an alcoholic and they're in the Hall of Fame.
This is where baseball is sending the wrong message. They're more concerned about someone doing something to interfere with the "integrity" of the game, but we're ok with all the losers that play everyday, the wife beaters, the drug addicts, the racists. I think it's terrible that Rose is unable to be in the Hall of Fame.
