Then Bullock thinks he has time to take a dribble with .9 on the clock

If we got ONe rebound we win
If we shot 30% from three, we win

His 3 point percentage cannot take that hit. He was watching for that red light.

Should have won in regulation if we could have secured the rebound. Sucks we lost, but hopefully Cuban took note that is was a sea of gold and purple in the crowd tonight.

I’m even sicker than I was at the end of regulation.

Good job, Cuban. We like our guys.

Mavs always do this kinda shit since 2011. They know just exactly how to play well enough to blow it.

On pace for that 32 win season
Good for an 8th or 9th pick when the stars are all gone

Powell is averaging 3.8 points and 3.2 rebounds a game for December. The dirt he has on the Mavs must be deep to keep getting minutes.

He’s played less minutes the last 3 games. Let’s hope that trend continues.

He hasn’t been playing many minutes lately. I don’t know why they continue to start him.

Guess it could have been worse. Could have lost the way the Thunder did tonight.

Not sure that's better. If we hadn't been totally inept, we would have won. If the Lakers hit a 60-foot heave to win, I'd be like, "damn, shit happens sometimes"
Mavs had a 3pt lead with 4 seconds left and forced a Lakers miss. You forced the miss. All you gotta do then is get the board and you win, but NOPE.
Then we had another 3pt lead with 2:26 left and then went 0-2 with a TO to dig our grave. Lakers took the lead and we just kept chucking hail mary threes which we WAY overperformed on vs. season stats.
Losing on a freak heave is way better than slowly drowning in mediocrity where we're good enough to ALMOST win, but winning enough against trash teams to make sure our draft picks are Josh Green 2.0 in the one year we have a first-round pick.

Good point. I guess losing the way OKC did is just laughable as a fan. We should have won this one.

I'd rather get a good pick. We aren't winning a ring this year (sad that I have to even say that), so why be mediocre?

It’s tough to root for your team to lose games, but sadly it’s better for the team in the long run to get a higher pick. Let’s just hope they don’t fuck it up again.

Such a Mavs way to lose. Unfortunately the take away for the organization will be that we gave the game away when we didn’t have Luka. The truth is this is who we are, a mediocre, three point reliant squad.
Trade Brunson, THJ, DFS, and any other player who can net a positive return asap. Rebuild the team the way the Cavs and Grizz rebuilt theirs.

All Things Mavs@All_Things_Mavs
- should’ve grabbed the rebound before OT
- should’ve fouled up 3
- should’ve used the foul on Westbrook’s drive at the end
The last two come down to coaching

KP and Maxi fighting for the rebound which ended up being an assist to Ellington for the tie was just so Mavs.
Idc about OT. So many bad/lucky 3s going in. The only good shot was what RWB got that lil high schooler that ended the game. We didn't deserve that win.
THJ is a panic player with a solid stroke. Sometimes the wild ones go in. He misses some wide open looks, misses a layup. Can't drive 1v1 in an open lane. Smh
Maxi and Bullock were again ineffective overall and in the clutch, yet Maxi gets tons of mins to finish while to me looking nervous and lost.

After the 3 to win it, manage to see Rondo on the court waving sarcastically to the crowd.
I dont like RC, but I still hate Rondo.

2. With 11.5 seconds left in the 4th and the Lakers down 93-90, LeBron James should have been called for a turnover before he missed a 3 and Wayne Ellington grabbed the offensive rebound and sped out to the 3-point line to tie it
3. With 5.7 seconds left in OT, Westbrook should have been called for a turnover before finding Austin Reaves with an assist for the game-winning 3 with 1.0 seconds left
4/5. Russell Westbrook and Kristaps Porzingis we’re both found guilty of a defensive three in the key call that went unchecked. So those cancel each other out. Here are the other three uncalled violations by the Lakers:
