Rothleisburger doesn't put up great stats. But at the end of the day, he rarely puts his team in position to lose the game.
Romo on the other hand does it quite often.....

It's a lot easier to do that when you play with the best defense in the NFL.
And seriously, all the things you constantly harp on Romo for, 'burger is doing those same things.

I love plays designed to get 3 yards when you need 3 yards.

But I imagine if you put Tony Romo with Pittsburgh last year.... they don't win the Super Bowl. Romo would have thrown a couple of interceptions against a team or fumbled it a couple of times and given up 14 points. The difference between winning and losing.
And right now I'd take Rothleisburger over Romo any day of the week.
Turnovers are always a huge part of the game. And Romo really hurts Dallas in that department. It has been the reason why they haven't won anything in the playoffs the last 3 years....

Give me Romo. I like Big Ben's "clutchness", but he is a VERY fortunate to play QB for on the team he does.

You can't be making this argument when Roethlisburger's turnover numbers were pretty much similiar to Romo's. Grass is always greener on the other side though...

Yeah he is fortunate. People were saying the same things about Aikman is the early 90s as well.
That was a good drive and score after what previously happened.

That was a nice little threat by the Giants. And now, back to reality.

Seriously, here are the stats:
Burger: 15 INTs, 14 Fumbles (7 lost)
Romo: 14 INTs, 12 Fumbles (7 lost)
Now Roethlisburger did play 3 more games, but you seriously can't be saying that Romo is a turnover machine while Roethlisburger isn't. Not to mention there is the fact that Romo gets sacked about half as much as Roethlisburger due to Roethlisburger being an idiot and running around forever trying to make an extra play.
Seriously, your argument is flawed and not based in reality.

Other than Philip Rivers EVERY quarterback had about the same number of turnovers. It is when they get them and if they get turned into points is what matters. Romo has really bad damage control when he commits a turnover. Most of his turnovers (like tonight) result in points immediately. And that has nothing to do with Dallas's defense.

I'm a fan. I think he's going to be a player for us. I definitely think he's more solid than Jenkins.

Ummmm...at least. Not sure what you intended with this post.
As for the game, the Giants offense is (as per usual) inept. We are going to absolutely own this second half.

I have to say that the D seems to have fixed whatever it was that ailed them against the Bucs. Hopefully they keep it up in the 2nd half.

Nice play by Williams.
Negated by Flozell's stupidity, but Crayton is my favorite receiver on the Boys.

Not too hot for him as a punt returner though.

Not that this one was Romo's fault. But it seems like all of his turnovers imediately result into points.
