How does the seeding work with 3 divisions in each conference?

?? Winner of Each Conference, Then best record??

Default RE: Playoff Questions

The seeding is winner of each conference then best record of the division. The home team is decided by record however and not seeding, I believe. Question to me would be how the seedings work afterwards. For example.

Dallas and San Antonio have the two best records, but San Antonio wins the division with dallas second. So Spurs would be 1st, Dallas 4th. Does that mean they would automatically be in the same bracket? Seems stupid to me but I think that's the way it will go.
